I’ve realized Dak has not succeeded in the playoffs and I didn’t not support his last extension, but Darnold never even took a team to the playoff until he got on a loaded team on both sides of the ball.

Quarterbacks, by virtue of the level of their involvement in scoring points, are the biggest difference makers on their respective teams. We can all agree as important as they are, they are not more important than collectively the other 52 players on the roster.

No one criteria indicates a quarterback’s comparative ability. No one here would suggest Jalen Hurts is a superior quarterback to Prescott or Darnold. He has a .674 winning percentage vs. teams with a winning record. (including playoffs). Obviously it’s the other 52 guys that make a quarterback great.

I was responding to your comments about pay. You had set aside performance to complain about Dak’s pay. I was simply pointing out that Seattle is about to make the same mistake on a worse QB.
