Saying Stafford needed help is meaningless, because every champion quarterback had help, and no Rams quarterback won before him even with Aaron Donald anchoring the defense. Football is a team sport, not tennis, and pretending Stafford was supposed to overcome a dysfunctional franchise by himself is just moving the goalposts.

The reality is simple: Stafford carried broken rosters for over a decade and still produced like an elite quarterback, then immediately won when he finally joined a competent organization, while Dak has had every advantage imaginable and still keeps falling short, so if anyone failed to elevate, the evidence points in one direction, and it is not Stafford.

I can't remember if it was Gin or AC or someone else...one of the big Dak Crusaders...was talking about QB draft position, and that Dak is way better and overachieving than some of the higher-drafted QBs.

I said "well that makes Romo way better than Dak".

Whoever it was disappeared faster than a mother-in-law when the dinner check comes.

Dallas defense showed up and held the Eagles to 13 points. Couldn’t have been set up better for Dak to have success. Dak led them to 3 FGs!
That is just one example of why I’m not buying into Dak being capable of beating good teams in succession to make a run to an NFC championship game.

And I respect your opinion whether I agree or disagree.... but in no way Wentz is OR was better than Dak. Period.

Well you must be talking about someone else because I don't disappear first of all.

Second of all, im a Dallas Cowboys crusader, not a Dak crusader. Im a fan and cheer on the players that play for the Cowboys. Dak is one of the Cowboys players that I cheer for. I also cheer for any of the other 52 players when the get on the field to play.

Im not like the low IQ cowardly mouth breathers who claim to root for the Cowboys, but cheer against certain Cowboys players.

Thats actually the dumbest thing I have ever seen and I've only seen Cowboys fans cheer against their own players. I have never heard of a fan from any other sports franchise that cheer against their own players like some of the idiots here that do that.

Its truly mind boggling.
 
Dak has flaws, but the Cowboys teams have great flaws as well.

Answer this question honestly. How many gms and coaches, given a situation where they can take their current team or a past team to win one game against any opponent would choose Darnold over Prescott if those were their only two choices?

My guess is the coach for Seattle this year would be the only coach who “might” select Darnold for that one game.

It has to a PERFECTLY EVEN PLAYING FIELD to evaluate Dak!!! Don't you understand?!?

You just admitted Dak is part of the problem. A $60mm/year, 25% of the cap PROBLEM.

This is emphatically false. One game does not make a QB whether it is Sam Darnold or Dak Prescott.

Comparing Stats, Darmonld had a completion % of 67.7. Dak was 67.3.

Darnold threw for 4048 yards. Dak threw for 4552.

Darnold threw 25 TDs. Dak threw 30.

Darnold threw 14 INTs. Dak 10.

Of course stats don;t tell the whole story but I don't see where Darnold is distinctly better than DAk, or better than Dak at all. He is a journeyman who happened to have a good season for a team with a dominating defense.
