New rules. Technically they only selected 3 modern era finalists when it's normally 5

The new rules are it has to be at least 3 players with no more than 5. Each player has to get at least 80% of the votes.

So instead of 5 modern era + one senior (which has historically been the norm) they selected 3 modern and 1 senior.

Eric Allen and Jared Allen are interesting choices when both Marshal Yanda and Luke Kuechly were both first time finalist.

Yanda was a unanimous all decade team selection (which is the same voters that vote for Canton) and Kuechly was DPOY and 5x first team all pro. Odd that neither could get 80% of the votes but the two Allens could ?
