Welp.. like someone already said earlier, I bet Brandon Weeden can beat David Carr in this game of who's the most HoF worthy QB.

Then what?
I don't know you tell me.

Is there any correlation between good range shooters and combat shooters. I'm really curious though. Does accuracy at a gun range help them in combat. Hmmmmmmm

Just messn w ya bro. In honesty I think there are some correlations accuracy hitting stationary targets with a football and accuracy during the game but there are also other factors. Accuracy during pressure, accuracy leading a receiver, scrambling and moving in a pocket etc.....

The same is in shooting...some correlation but real life is a "little" diff

Key difference kind sir.. Dez is an established veteran of several years that should be leading by example. Dak is going into year 3.

But please continue.

and like i said.. if this was dez bryant vs nate burleson in a friendly nfl network competition catching competition and dez looked as bad as dak did.. you'd be all over it.. not really sure what your post has to do with dez, dak and the friend competition that was displayed

Actually I said close to 400 yards.. 356 yards passing with Joseph Randell as our starting RB and Pollack taking over as OL coach with garbage blocking the first few games. And two straight drives in the 4th quarter without a single run solely off his arm ending in 2 TDs

The second game he passes for 250 yards in the win.

Hardly ‘sucked’..

Basically Dak was Cassell and Weeden that season in the conditions Romo was throwing for 356 yards..
Since when I saw 356 close to 400 hards lol?

You harp on yardage but conveniently won't mention his touchdown to interception ratio.

Even though this video doesnt really mean much. It just adds fuel to the concern about Dak! I was one of the first people to jump on the Dak bandwagon and want Romo to have his head chopped off! But the more I have seen from Dak I realize that Dallas doesnt have anything special with Dak. Usually when you have a QB that is going through growing pains he will show you along the way why he was a top pick by making some really great throws. Dak hasnt really shown that! He makes high percentage short throws but with the adjustment of defenses thats no longer a given. Go back and look at the schedules and Dak almost always struggles against a decent defense. Those are the type of defense a QB will have to face in the playoffs. That GB defense was garbage that Dak faced his first year. Im not saying dump Dak but Dallas shouldnt consider the QB position solved for the next 10 years.

You gotta start somewhere and this why the cops go to the shooting range all the time. Its called progression, first you learn to hit a staionary target, then a moving target then simulate pressure on moving targets. Dak might need to go back to basics. I think if you go back and look at scouting reports we would all see questionable arm strength and accuracy on Daks.

this is like a guy shooting free throws at practice and some guy saying , "it doesn't matter how many times he bricks it, it's not a real game".. lmao... what's next watching him messing up handing the ball off ...

Dak needs to break out the tire; and I'm not talking about the spare tire.

Dak was close on the throws....David didn't look so good in live action...

David Carr was a starter for 5 seasons in Houston in those 5 seasons he got sacked 76, 15, 49, 68, 41 times. Dak Presscott will probably not get sacked that many times if he plays 10 seasons as a starter. Houston ruined his career

Carr definitely sharper on passes. Watching the Weeden video, no wonder Jerry J liked his arm. its impressive , especially the clay pigeon version with quick release etc.

That said, give me a gamer who can get the ball into the " catch zone" area of the receiver who can get open , and most importantly " catch it".

This is the dumbest thing ever! That chucky cheese crap was way to close to throw accurate, carr has nothing better to do than play at chucky cheese w his kids, this was like a dumb game of darts, *** cares! Dak throws to "receivers" not dinner plates lol! I happened to play receiver and most wr hate the ball low in the belly, im tall i like up around the head where i can reach out and pluck it got a lot more catch radius than a dinner plate, its not like he was 3ft off, your talking inches in a freakin arcade. Somebody post that dez drops montage again please, and somebody tell me how many strikes dak throws in a tight window between two defenders that hit dez in stride RIGHT IN THE BLEEPING HANDS!
Moving targets guys, moving targets guys! If you guys watched that probowl qb stuff this year, they all looked awful! They could barely hit those things even russell wilson looked like osweiler the level of stoopidity it takes to see this dumb bs as relavent or worrisome is astounding! Time to "block" a bunch of tide pod eating kids, good grief!!!!!!!!

I would bet that snipers are awesome at the range

Dez is going on being a 9 year veteran. Dak is yet to start his 3rd. BIG DIFFERENCE. What is so hard to understand about that?

Exactly! Well said.

Funny how they run to bash Dak but make lame excuses when Romo hit only 2 out of 7 BIGGER TARGETS during his first Pro Bowl QB Challenge back in 2007?

Can someone say "agenda much"?

Obviously you don't understand simple logic.

Veteran of many years.

2 year youngster.

In a logical world, the veteran of many years would be expected to have fully grasped the concept of leading by example on the field. Instead, our veteran of many years led the league in dropped passes.

Conversely, a 2 year youngster would not yet be at a point in his career in which those same expectations can be solidly set. That 2 year youngster would be expected to still be settling into his role.

Hopefully that little explanation helped clarify things for you.

That's a fair point. He has time to grow and get better at things. No argument there

David Carr still has some good touch on his passes. Impressive for how many concussions that poor guy suffered.
David Carr was an elite "all time" talent that got the living crap beat out of him for the 1st 4 years of his career. That will stunt the growth of anyone. Just because he got a permanent case of the yips doesn't mean he isn't blessed with a great arm.
