Obviously you don't understand simple logic.

Veteran of many years.

2 year youngster.

In a logical world, the veteran of many years would be expected to have fully grasped the concept of leading by example on the field. Instead, our veteran of many years led the league in dropped passes.

Conversely, a 2 year youngster would not yet be at a point in his career in which those same expectations can be solidly set. That 2 year youngster would be expected to still be settling into his role.

Hopefully that little explanation helped clarify things for you.

your problem is you are talking about leading on the field? This thread is on a passing competition off the field. like i said.. im not sure what being a 2 year vet or a 9 year vet has to do with an off the field friendly passing or receiving competition

like i said before.. carr made dak look like he was coming off of a hangover or something.. thats all fine but I know if that was Dez instead of Dak in a competition and Dez looked as bad as Dak did in the video.. some of you would be making a bigger deal out of it

Dez hasn't looked good since 2014. It's hard believe that was 4 years ago.

so not true, hes been injured quite abit and yes last year with the drops was the first sign of possible breakdown.. if he would have played an entire season in 2016 he would have had 1kplus and 10plus

he had 800 yards and 8 tds in 13 games played with 15.9 YPC per catch(btw highest in his career) factors out to close to 1000 and 10tds AND the GB playoff game 9 132 14.7 40T 2( correct that great game in the playoffs) this is with new QB that they say aren't on the same page..seriously yes 2015 no QB and injured a lot so really all this hasn't been good since 2014 is a tad exaggerated... seemed to me in a heavy run offensive scheme with Zeke ripping the NFL apart in his rookie season a 1000 yards and 10tds and a great playoff game is asolid season and shows they weren't always not on the same page..

lets say this one more FN time the entire team broke down last year starting with the Oline, than zeke gone and than Dak, this lead to a lot of trickle down to the receivers..no one on offense had a good year..im expectiong better things in 2018.. we only nned to improve two games to make the playoffs..seriously..

now that dosnt mean i don't think Dez shouldn't restructure his contract and give him half guaranteed and he can EARN the rest back in incentive laden bonuss..its just a team attitude and if he doesn't its going to be hard to cut him..if you cut him it only saves 8mil and a hole at starting WR, to replace him you might end up spending that 8mil on a quality wr..so really aside from a new face with no production guarantees, it saves us not enough to just pull the plug on him..

Let me make it simpler...

Dez sucks now and I hope they decide to jettison the trash before the whole house starts to wreak.

I'm not sure why some fans think this. Dez does plenty ON the field to criticize, we don't need to make up a hypothetical scenario.

Well, sheesh -- here's hoping his accuracy work during the offseason produces something resembling improvement. :D

To be sure, I won't be expecting anything astounding to come of it. More time in the pocket to throw might help, though.

God, I hope nobody is seriously comparing these two quarterbacks.

One has a Howitzer and the other has a pee shooter.

Guess which one the Cowboys are stuck with?

That’s right, mister mediocrity. Dink and Dunk Dak
You have a bad mirror

I know.. its amazing the different Romo did for him.. I know you are talking about seasons but he did look good in that playoff game against green bay when we needed him the most

I know, right...................its freaking plastic targets at Dave and Busters!!!!!

Posters are actually trying to say it was unfair because Carr might have gotten in a couple of practice throws at Dave and Busters:huh:

Wow, no words:facepalm:

Rrright... So in the grand scheme of things, what exactly does this mean with regard to football? It's a great opportunity for the clown contingent to denigrate our QB. What else?

Even though this video doesnt really mean much. It just adds fuel to the concern about Dak! I was one of the first people to jump on the Dak bandwagon and want Romo to have his head chopped off! But the more I have seen from Dak I realize that Dallas doesnt have anything special with Dak. Usually when you have a QB that is going through growing pains he will show you along the way why he was a top pick by making some really great throws. Dak hasnt really shown that! He makes high percentage short throws but with the adjustment of defenses thats no longer a given. Go back and look at the schedules and Dak almost always struggles against a decent defense. Those are the type of defense a QB will have to face in the playoffs. That GB defense was garbage that Dak faced his first year. Im not saying dump Dak but Dallas shouldnt consider the QB position solved for the next 10 years.

LOL.........right, so when he had the 2nd best rookie season in the history of the NFL that didnt "show you anything"?

Or the first 8 games of this year when he was on pace for 40 TD's?

Talk about selective memory. Dak was blowing it off the record books through the first 24 games of his career.

Did anything big happen starting in game 9-16 of this year that changed things dramatically for Dak and the team?

He dropped from having four first team All-Pro offensive teammates to three (the horror!) and became a bottom five QB?

Its just kinda embarrassing, that's all.

Its like playing a game of horse and your girl is knocking them down every shot, nothing but net. Then its your turn and every shot is a brick.

Just kinda embarrassing, that's all.
