Provide depth or even find a starting role on a bad/avg at best D? Spence would have likely provided an immediate boost in the pass rush department (has the potential to be your edge rusher). A DT/DE/LB/S who can play this year would have. An IR player doesn't contribute anything next year.

So that "depth" player we would've got would've took us from 4 wins to 12 wins?

As a Nebraska fan, and someone whom watches EVERY game, we got ourselves a beast. Kid is very strong and has a nasty streak. Guess I'm in the minority but I LOVE this draft so far.
