Roy Williams said he was a Cowboys fan growing up, that's all it takes for fans to crawl all over a player's jock, till now. Strange.

This is the best possible thing that could have happened for Williams. Now he's pissed and can't wait to show everyone that he can indeed be a viable number 1 WR.

He's mad and he's working his butt off *with Romo* in order to prove what he can do.

I think the guy is going to have a really good season. He's got too much ability, he's too smart, his hands are too good, and he has too good a team around him not to succeed.

It would be easy for him to get complacent in Detroit because of how the fans/media treated him and because he was on a team where success is not expected.

I agree that having people question his ability could be the best thing for a player with "motivational issues."

That said, I don't think he needs 1,000 yards and 10 touchdowns to prove himself, as some suggest. We get too caught up in numbers when what matters is if he can do his part to make this offense effective.

I grew up in SoCal and that was one of the tunes I heard on the bus evverrrrry morning on the way to high school. Another was that freaking "Devil's in the house of the rising sun! fiddle fiddle fiddle fiddle... round & round & run boy run.. fiddle fiddle fiddle fiddle.."

The only thing this criticism will do is make our choke artist qb force the ball to Roy. So hes pretty much going to do the same thing people claimed he did with TO. Only TO was/is a way better player than Roy. And if he doesn't force feed Roy the criticism will be huge, hence More distractions. Whats going to happen when the media asks Roy after games why he isn't involved in the offense and why his numbers aren't that great?
