I don't think you're getting it. The charge, if I understand it correctly, is only a Class A misdemeanor and, at this point, also only an allegation. For all we know someone is trying to extort him, using the police as a tool to manipulate him into making some monetary settlement out of court. That's what's wrong with most citizens today, they hear something happened and there is no due process. That person is guilty.
I beg to differ. Cricket has the right to counsel and a fair trial. He can afford it and there is merely a warrant out for his arrest. No indictments, no felony charges as of yet.
