Oo ya Brolin would be perfect. He's actually a pretty big comics fan, Jonah Hex disaster aside.

If this is an A+ movie, then what are classics like Gone With The Wind or The Wizard of Oz. Same level as those?

Deadpool is infinitely more entertaining than either of those movies. It's not even a contest.

Both of those films are likely better movies than Deadpool if I were critiquing them.

My A+ was for entertainment.

Though honestly, the two movies you used are poor examples.
They aren't classic because they are cinematic master pieces, especially Oz. GWTW is several levels above Oz.
Many old classics are classic due to lack of saturation and competition during the time period.

Let's say Deadpool is a classic. What is it that makes it one? The script, acting, direction, costumes? What of it that will hold up over time 70 years down the road as it has for movies like Gone with the Wind or The Wizard of Oz?

Are you saying the Wizard of Oz has a great script and acting...

A movie being a classic is mostly independent of those things.

Saw this today with my 21 year old son. Had a blast! Humor and execution of the movie was great. Can't wait to watch this again on dvd. A definite buy!
