The reason why they traded Cooper was cause he was making 20 million annually and they cannot afford to keep all three. They can release Gallup after next season, but still cannot have two receivers making 20 million, with a QB making double that.
Why did they try and trade for cooks then who makes 19? And the Texans weren’t gonna eat any money

If he’ll show up to work on his current contract?

‘Ya got yerself a deal!’
He'll want a new deal. My question is does he want a raise of just guarantees? If we can get a new deal that will give him 25 million in guarentees over the next two years, Id take that over him playing on his current deal

If this is legit then the cowboys should be all over this. He was excellent t last year, even with Colt McCoy throwing to him at times. A first would be too rich for me considering his salary but a second is easily worth it to me.

As much as I love Hops he has a massive cap hit the next 2 years.

Even if they eat some still gonna likely be a team with a ton of space…like the Bears.

It would be a two year 18m per year deal and Hopkins has a no-trade clause / no franchise tag clause so he'd likely ask for more money. He's worth more than a two though.
