Dear fans, what are your expectations for 2025?

Cap boy will tell us fans how they don’t have any money to spend. They will wait for the 4th wave of free agents to pick up a few players. Some UFA will get over paid on the team. Average draft.
8-9 middling team.

The perpetual injury bug has begun at the QB position. And IF the HC is retained, this will also add to more of the same results or decline.

Additionally, the fans were given early warnings from management concerning cap restraints and non participation in free agency.

This all adds up to no improvement and more likely further decline.

It's already been well documented the Cowboys could create as much as $100M in cap space if they wanted too.

This, all the sports talk shows had a field day with this because Jed and Jethro told everyone they were cap strap and everyone fell for the Okie Dok.

2025 free cap is 19M, per overthecap

Dak, CD, and Parsons currently eat 50 percent of the 2025 cap.

Our cap is jacked.

We are gonna lose a lot of our players.

Bye OSA

Lads, next season looks grim. That is, if 2025 follows script of doing little in FA and in trades as in this season.

Some points for we handsome blokes and blokettes to consider:

*Our O line shows signs of stagnation, though the young ones show promise. Nothing good or great.
*Our triplets are now Dak/Lamb/Dowdle. A far cry from the original triplets.
*Our D? It is anchored by Parsons, Bland and Diggs. After that, the talent level drops to journeyman and never-were's.
*Special teams? We have the best in the NFL!!!
*Coaching is a mystery. But whether McCarthy resumes his Abrahamic slog through also-ran territory or Yoda wises up and hires Jon Gruden, next season won't be pretty.

With this in mind, I foresee another collapse or a middling season. No playoffs and another lousy draft pick at No. 15.

I expect 8-9.

What are your expectations, cerebral and lovable fans?
It’s a great question but one I can’t come close to answering until we see:
  • Who will be the HC in 2025 and will the organizational function and structure stay exactly the same? (If so, I see no reason to believe much of anything of significance will change as far as team performance)
  • Will Parsons be signed to a new deal, for how much and when?
  • How will Dak and Cedee’s contracts be restructured in order to possibly create more cap space? (Unfortunately the clowns at the top of the organization don’t have a clue how to do this right)
  • What kind of draft haul will we have?
Plus a few more unanswered questions. I can commit to saying that without some changes in how the Jones boys function and operate, I see no reason to believe 2025 will be something more than what we’ve seen for three decades.

If we get another “rinse and repeat” season the only hope we have is for Lady Luck to have mercy on our souls and we catch lightening in a bottle in some unforeseen miracle. I’m not banking on that.

There you go, and Jerry will tell us our second string RDE and our 4th round pick getting hurt really affected the win total.

Super Bowl if not for that.

Last year, Diggs aside, they were as healthy as could be asked for, were handed the two seed, and choked yet another home playoff game…in embarrassing fashion.

They are nowhere near as close as they want to believe, but hey…what should be expected out of people that aren’t good at what they do? Bad performance.

The coaches they are willing to hire…the ones willing to put up with Jerry…and their dated schemes don’t help, but this teams failure is all about being short on the field while the two clowns think they are outsmarting the rest of the league by counting on mid round rookies instead of a proven veteran while trying to win.

Yes you were....you cry and complain, yet, here you are..,,sucking on Jerry's teats like a piglet. Move over and make room for you buddies. Enjoy the game tomorrow, I know you'll be watching

Jerry at the helm, same results as the last 30 years. Either miss the playoffs of lose in the wildcard round.

Dak, CD, and Micah consume 50% of the cap in 2025.

19M in free cap as of this morning.

that number will change some. But that’s what we start with.
If they sign Parsons to an extension, his cap number for 2025 drops.

They can restructure Lamb.

They’ll likely have moves to make but likely won’t because they love to dupe fans into thinking they have no cap space to sign anyone in FA.

Same as every other year Jerry and Stephen are in charge. Well except now we seemed to have lost our unsustainable magic touch with nailing drafts so we’ll fall that much further behind. Dak’s athleticism left him long ago, i don’t think Peak Dan Campbell would make a difference here so i just treat it as entertainment.

I expect the same as this year. With the amount of holes we have, it will take more than one offseason to fill them. I am worried about the backend on defense next season. We also have problems on the offensive line.

I won't mention the record until around the draft.

I expect more of the same next year.
