He's right.

He is also a supreme annoyance. I simply cannot watch anything he is a party to. The modern athlete-turned-analyst has pretty much ruined pre- and post-game shows for me. With them, it's all about how loud and obnoxious they can be. Very little of any substance comes from them, IMO.

So far this year Carolina has beaten
Seattle
Green bay
Philly
Indy
etc

They also won a playoff game last year.

Other than New England (who's not on their schedule) Who else do you want them to beat in a 10 game stretch.

They are the best record wise, but I think AZ and GB are the best in the NFC.

So glad I don't watch BSPN or nfln anymore...

I'm with you there. I don't turn the TV on until game time anymore, and once the game ends, I find another game or turn the TV off. There are very few talking heads that have anything intelligent to offer anymore and the few that do are surrounded by numerous others whose goal is to see how much noise they can make rather than how much sense they can make.

He's horrible on the NFL Network. I didn't like him when he was on the team. He's always hated Romo. Every QB in the league throws stupid picks from time to time. And those were a couple of bad throws. No one cares. They won a game. That's all that matters at this point. And all these former players that drool over him, I just don't get it. He was definitely the best defensive player I ever seen that avoided contact or tackling someone

If I'm not mistaken, he invented the phrase "business decision". He was a supremely talented player with absolutely no balls.

Oh, he's disgusting. I'd prefer a postgame show where the audience tries to shoot that gollum-head of his with paintball rifles and then high steps when they hit, myself. But he's right that those picks have to be cleaned up.

He is, but SSSSHHHHH your going to upset the masses.

Can't we just have a nice, reasonable reaction to stuff like this? Yes, Tony is amazing. No, we don't want him throwing dangerous picks and trying to do too much.

And I did go back and listen to Tony's postgame on this. He said the same thing. He can't act like it's the most important play of the game or of the season. He has to accept some times that 'they got us,' and live to make another play.

Yep, I can't defend the picks either, other than to think not playing for the last two months may have had some part in them. As for Dieon being right, he was...but then a broken clock is right twice a day, too.

Those types of plays are what you're going to get with Tony. It's a by product of being a magician. At least he knows it's an issue and he's working on finding the right balance.

I have no doubt he'll play well here on Thursday. Can't wait.

You should have seen him on Bear Grylls show. Crying like a little baby over little things.

Again, that being said, he was one of the best players ever.

He, indeed, gives us a head scratching throw every now and then. That said, I dread the day we no longer have him as our QB (I don't have a lot of faith that a true franchise QB will be found any time soon after he's gone).

How long have you been here? It's the world against the Cowboys.

But still is widely considered the greatest defensive back to ever lace up cleats.

Not arguing that point...he was. But he also had some chicken **** in him, too.

I don't know if I'd go that far, it's hard to nitpick what he did on the football field, plus he helped the Cowboys win #5.

He made a lot of great plays and was overall a great player...probably the best ever at his position. That said, I won't try to talk you out of liking him if you won't try to talk me out of hating him ("hate" may be a little strong, but I'm sure you get the gist of where I'm coming from). :)

That's fair.

He's right.. Whether the INTs were Romo's fault is a totally different issue..
