The fact that we are even discussing this to this extent is puzzling. Talking heads are talking heads. Prime just happens to be where lots of folks hear him. I reserve any thoughts on whether we can or cannot do anything until after Thursday's game. If we win, there will be some reason to be optimistic. The Eagles are a dumpster fire and the Commanders are in a similar situation. In Philly they hate the coach. In Washington their offensive line stinks and their defensive line (except Kerrigan) stinks also. Couple that with average at best linebackers and a putrid secondary and no one should fear them. BTW, check out the Commanders rushing totals yesterday. E gads!!.

PS. I still think the Giants will win the East and not only because their record, but because they have a good defensive coordinator, a Super Bowl winning quarterback and they have a two game lead on us.

Less margin for error against superior competition.. I hope we got all the kinks out in this game.. I like our chances though...

Even at 10-0 I don't buy into the Panthers. They play in the NFC south. There's 6 wins. They play th NFC east. There's at least 3 more wins. And they play the AFC south. That's 13 wins against sub par competition.

By my count, they've beaten one team over .500 this season--the Packers.

This IS a SB caliber team when healthy. I am afraid they have dug themselves to big a hole to be a threat this year. It's mind boggling that we went 0-7 without Romo. We should have won at least 1-2 of those games

He's right. That happens against a bad team like the Dolphins and we can get away with it.

But that kind of thing is expected out of your QB when they haven't played a down in 8 weeks. You shake the rust off against the Dolphins and Romo should be a lot more sharp against the Panthers.

My bigger concern is him having to make such a quick turn around after getting hit as much as he did against Miami.

He's horrible on the NFL Network. I didn't like him when he was on the team. He's always hated Romo. Every QB in the league throws stupid picks from time to time. And those were a couple of bad throws. No one cares. They won a game. That's all that matters at this point. And all these former players that drool over him, I just don't get it. He was definitely the best defensive player I ever seen that avoided contact or tackling someone

".....You can get away with that against the Dolphin, but not the Panthers, something, something, something, Cowboys are not a Super Bowl team."

I don't agree that the team can't overcome two interceptions against the Panthers. It might not be able to, but it also would depend on what else happens.

I really love how Carolina has somehow become this team you can't afford to make any mistakes against.

Some of those INTs were on the blitz and Romo refusing to throw the ball away. Not excusing Romo for falling back on old ways. Yes, the receiver ran a bad route creating one but he still threw the ball. That's a judgment error. An overthrow happens to every QB here and there.

Yeah, he is bad on nfl network, he has all that banter with Irvin like they're talking at their house or something. I guess they're being laid back, I find it distracting. He.s just an easy person to dislike, and I don't know how Faulk is even on TV.
The early NFL pregame with Melissa stark is about the only show I.ll watch..it's actually pretty good. She doesn't hurt things either.ha

Perfect time to get the Panthers. They had the Packers at home at the worst time for the Pack. They haven't beaten anyone else worth a damn. It's a short week which can only hurt a 10-0 team. The law of averages is against them. They can afford to lose a game or 2. And we are desperate team that is getting healthy. Tell Tyron and the lads to stay disciplined. Then we get the extra 3 days to get ready for the Skins and we just might have this thing rolling. The Giants are an average team. They can be caught.
