Maybe he didn't mean it as a diss towards Free. He couldve just been showing Flo some respect.

that would make sense, for anyone that has watched him talk in interviews before he is basically an extremely complimentary guy and if he didnt say anything about free, nothing should be made of it.

If he said the guy we have there now cant play or Doug stinks then that is something.

Because Bradie james was on with ben n skin today and he basically said he trusts the front office and that flo was as good as there was and how doug free has big shoes to fill. He went onto say he is my teammate and I support him and if they think he can do it so does he.

Then jason witten was on with norm today and he said almost the same thing. Everyone loved flo, flo was highly respected and its just what happens in the league. He said Doug has a big job and they believe in him.

I can almost guarantee without hearing it, Because as bradie and witten said flo was highly respected and looked up to in the locker room that ware said the same thing in his own way and wasnt even thinking about free.

I would also bet anything that if you asked ware directly about free you would get something similar to what bradie and witten said today.

but hey, again, if these guys want to turn it into something because they are bored tonight, go right ahead.

I know I am going to hear from some people that it's not a big deal that Demarcus Ware never even mentions Doug Free when discussing the release of Flozell Adams and who will be filling the role at Left Tackle.

You can think what you want.

And I am sure Ware in his next interview will be asked about Free and he will say all the right things to sound like he's very confident in Doug Free stepping in for Flozell Adams.

That was a candid interview and Ware was the person who brought up the release of Flo. Wingo didn't even approach the position as being a big change for the team. Ware brought that up all on his own. And then he immediately went to the draft in terms of finding a replacement for the veteran.

Now we are talking about an OLB who would have faced Doug Free many many times in practice. It's not like Free hasn't been on this team for a few years now.

I am not saying to panic and start sending in letter to Jerry that he now has to draft a LT at #27.

But if I am Jerry and Stephen Jones and I hear this I think it would be wise to make a call to Demarcus and ask him why in that moment the name Doug Free was nowhere to be found in the mental rolodex.

when I get a chance I will. And I can pretty much tell you knowing wares personality in interviews I wont take it as a stab at free in anyway.

Especially when I heard bradie james on the radio support doug free today. And if there was a sentiment that free cant play in the locker room Bradie is a guy that talks straight in interviews and he would have said it straight out.

So again, Nothing to it. When ware is asked a direct question about free get back to me, cause I guarantee it wont be a negative comment or a diss.

dayyym he does say 'you have to draft a guy or bring him back'.... Maybe hes just not used to Free... Or doesn't follow the teams offseason moves like us and doesn't think Free will be the replacement at LT.

But again, hey whatever. For anyone who has always listened to ware you will know his personality and who he is. And again that is no diss. I can remember listening to ware do interviews with norm on the ticket and with babe and ware forgets peoples names on the team and doesnt know much about the history of the league.

He probably thinks of free as a right tackle because that is where he played last year and to me that is how innocent ware's personality has always come off to me.

In the interview on the ESPN release schedule show, not sure if any of you caught it.

They were talking about all the changes in the NFC East and with the Cowboys standing pat. Demarcus brought up losing Flozell and said we have to draft a guy or bring back Flozell because if you can't protect you're QB you're in trouble.

Absolutly no mention of Doug Free. No vote of confidence that he can do the job.

Sorry if you don't think this is a diss, but the fact that Ware says we have to draft or guy or even bring back Flozell speaks volumes.

He could have easily just said that Flo was a big loss but we got guys that can take over.

If DeMarcus says we need to release every player on the team and start anew, im inclined to believe him.
^ example of my dedication and trust to everything that man says. I'd vote for him for ruler for the planet earth. Hes a fantastic person and the best defensive player in the NFL, he knows what he speaks of.

Unless he comes out saying it was oversight on his part, sorry Free but your not an NFL player & I look forward to wishing you best of luck in your future endeavorers.

I would think he does, but if he feels this is a slight of free then I feel he is wrong and is just not used to hearing ware answer questions.

If someone had asked ware directly about doug free he would have complimented him.

He complimented Kevin Kolb for crying out loud.

again though, if you guys feel it is a big deal, fine. run with it. Use it as a reason to bag on free and ware for a couple of weeks till mini camps start.
