Twitter: Demarcus Lawrence impact in Seattle

You've got it backwards. They do better elsewhere because those are franchises that are serious about winning. There's no pressure to win in Dallas because Jerry doesn't care enough about it. Just do good enough to "hang around the rim", but don't worry even if you don't. You'll get paid far more than what you've earned, because "we like our guys", and "comfort" are more important than being champions.
I knew what i said would trigger a response, you aren't wrong but i hope jerry proves us wrong this coming offseason.

His sack totaled were largely inflated by playing in a down NFC east
But it wasn't trash when talking about offensive output or wins being "padded"against the rest of the east. Remember that .... or you'll get jumped.

Lawrence wouldn't have the same impact for Dallas defense like he does for Seattle. Seattle has a better overall defense

we pay him and lose

OR

we dont pay him and lose

in Dallas Jerry at the gentlemens club making it rain and our fans are like "JERRY DONT KNOW WHAT HES DOING"

Jerry laughing

A bigger part of it was that he and Parsons did not get along. They wanted to keep Parsons ……… until they didn’t. One player is helping his new team with his work ethic, setting a hard edge vs the run game, and pressures without losing contain. The other player is 10th on his new team in tackles and 2nd in sacks while half his sacks came in one game vs the Cardinals.

One player is clearly the better pass rusher, but he’s paid like the best non-QB in the NFL.
I'm actually unfamiliar with this DLaw/Parsons drama. When did that start?

Being on an organization that cares about winning helps. Hawks have managed to stay relevant over the last three decades.

You hit the nail on the head with Tank.

The Tank they are seeing was not the guy who was here the last year or two.
Doesn't this speak to a systemic culture issue in Dallas?

Lawrence all but eviscerated the culture in our locker room on the way out the door and most fans mocked him for it

I think he (and the others who have made similar comments in recent years) are closer to the truth than most fans would care to admit

I think he was mocked because he contributed to it...however, this fish is rotted from the head so it's not like any single player is going to change how this FO operates and interacts with its personnel.

But I think players like Lawrence have no issue pushing their "brand" while here.
It's a two face look for him, when he was all about pushing Hot Boyz merch and promotions. The D-line bought in at one point to that crap as well.

Same thing for Parsons. All about podcasts here. Gets traded and instantly becomes a born again football player and decides to end his podcast. He could of been all about football here

I think Jerry is the main problem, over reaching his coaches and coddling players, but it's not like every player is trying to be a leader while here and try to sway the locker room to a football all the time mindset

Everyone goes and does wonders once they leave here, The pressure to play for America's team is no joke.
The moniker “America’s team” is a joke. Isn’t the fanbase hoping Williams will be inspired by being in new surroundings? Perhaps getting away from the Cowboys and joining a new team inspired DLaw.

Dallas shouldn't miss Micah.

Dudes on pace for like 20 tackles and tying his worst sack total for a season with 12.5 (tying last year when he only played 12 games).

Oh, but I guess we're supposed to miss the "pressures"

I was glad to move on from both these guys, because D-Law is Dallas was lazy from the culture.
In general you’ve gotta move on at some point. That combo wasn’t working.

So we feel the impact of not having these guys, but that’s part of moving on.
