They reached for him BIG time. Ridiculous pick. We haven't gone 20+ years with no success for no reason.

Against bottoms level D1 competition, he didn't strike me as impressive at all. Our FO really over thought this pick.

Of the guys in that draft that had the potential to be RDEs, (excluding Clowney), he was by far the best against the run. I don't want to even rank Clowney in that regard because it was very dependent on which year and game as to whether he was a good run defender.
