Im not sure he failed four tests. You have to fail four weed tests to be suspended, but I thought the first HGH test was a suspension.

I believe you are correct, can get 4 games under PED policy for stimulants if was a in season test.

The other news from the PED policy is that positive tests for MDMA (and other stimulants) in the offseason will fall under substance abuse. In-season tests will continue to fall under the PED policy.

The new policy punishment breaks down as follows:

2 games: Use of a diuretic or masking agent
4 games: Use of steroid, stimulant, HGH, etc
6 games: Attempt to manipulate a test

It's really frustrating. We moved to the 4-3 and simplified coverages and put the focus on developing players. Then we get four guys suspended for substances on top of the injury problems that didn't really go away. It's, what, year 4 under the new program, and we still don't have enough talent on that side of the ball and we're going backwards on the DL with two of our best young DLs suspending and looking at more time off if they can't get it together. So frustrating.

And we've got people who want to draft a RB at #4. Gah.

What a freaking idiot. Today is when the random off season tests started. If he has already gotten word he's being suspended thst means not only did he fail, but that he had failed in the past and was already in the program. Thus the reason he could be tested anytime throughout the year.
