You are completely wrong here. When's the last time you've been to Deming? It's out of control the last 4 or 5 years. Trafficing has become a huge problem all around Las Cruces and surrounding areas.

I'm not sure how you've come to the conclusion that anybody ever said they would. Further, I'm not sure why you are afraid of simply saying what part of the US you live in.

As an acting mod, you should of taken the pretty obvious clue that I’m not divulging that info and moved on.

Every region has drug issues. And no region is solving it by anally raping citizens of this country.

drugs come from every today. I grew up in the midwest, which for the longest time produce the majority of the meth in the nation. annally raping people doesn't do anything but build distrust between people and law enforcement.

As for Deming, I have driven through there many times going back and forth between Texas and California. It really is a crap-hole of a town and if I blinked, would drive right past it. They do have a problem with drifters and illegal aliens but not sure about the drug trafficking. It does lie on Interstate 10 which I have read is the #1 drug route in the U.S.

I do not agree with what happened here and it is uncalled for. Small podunk towns do not exactly follow proper protocol and that police department and hospital deserve everything coming. There are ways to go about this without violating ones rights.

I suspect that this entire thing is about something else, other then what is being reflected in the articles and local pieces we've seen thus far. The Locals don't just pull a member of the community off the streets and subject them to this kind of thing for a traffic violation. It's a small town and they all know each other. Their kids all go to the same school etc. There is much more to this then that I suspect. I have not yet seen any indication that Eckert is a local resident or if he was somebody who was just passing through. This is key IMO. If he is local, then there is much more to this then just what has been reported IMO.
