I don't disagree about what Henry brings, but this OL has been terrible. Believe they are 3rd worst in the league in the average per run. This scheme fits Henry far better then it does Pollard, I would like to see if Henry could be the answer.
It's not the OL players, imo ... it's the OL run scheme, and play calling - and it's the new OL coach.. there were not only run lanes and creases for Pollard to explode thru last year, but that was also a front that included McGovern and TE Schultz blocking and we still had splash plays runs with Pollard.

I'd thought for sure with the arrival of OL coach Mike Solari, we'd have a stretch- slant run design scheme that emphasizes
off tackle runs and cut-back lanes. That's what the Shanahan run scheme does ... that's what the Dolphins Mike McDaniel
run scheme does ... that's Jax Jaguars and Travis Etienne Jr. run game does

Some here keep insisting on a power back cuz we dunno anything else - we've always had power, bell cow RBs
ala Emmitt, Murray.. Zeke ... we dunno All Purpose types like McCaffrey, Etienne Jr; Kamara, etc, ..and apparently
cannot see otherwise,..

If Henry were to come here under McCarthy, we'd just run him outta shotgun formation instead of giving him deep handoffs
from QB under center.

I think Tennessee will take Henry's wishes into account being that he is a top 5 all time player for that organization.

Henry would definitely much rather go to Baltimore....who always (in the modern era) have a good run blocking oLine and good coaches, and a respectable organizational hierarchy and GM to close his career out on a high note

We don't have those things... and with a certain person who will be with him behind the line of scrimmage not instilling fear in opposing defenses, Henry would be a punching bag running behind our line with our "passing game dynamic" the way it is.

He will be a Raven. We don't need to be throwing picks at a guy near the end anyway. We need to rebuild. You can't say "well our last few 2nd rounders didn't work so let's just give up and use them on guys near retirement".... no, just get better! Hire a real GM.... emulate the other successful franchises! But, sadly, we all know Jerruh would rather not win at all with him calling the shots, then win a SB with someone else leading the draft and making decisions, who might get some of the credit. His own personal ego is more important to him than the tens of millions hopes and dreams of Cowboy fans everywhere, including the 50 or so in here.
I saw he would like to play for Dallas then Ravens but i could be wrong

Not me. I've been saying since draft day that he had no business in this league. He can't block, break tackles, or move the pile. The only GM in football that would take him is nepotism Jerry.

But the excuses flow like rain:

"They aren't using him correctly"
"He hasn't had good blocking"
I have no problem with where we took him. You're taking shots in the dark at that point and sometimes the dart hits the target and sometimes it misses. The problem I have is the normal one with the Joneses: poor planning. You get what's coming to you when you go into the season having promoted a backup to starter who is coming off injury, added a cheap FA supposed to complement him and the only options if one or both of those things don't work out in your favor being two UDFAs and a late-round pick.

So it’s either “I told you so’s” or “he stinks”. Nepotism didn’t get him drafted lol. He was a great college player.

Nothing wrong with Mighty Mouse. He just needs some holes to run through and be used better. Downside is he is not a power back. That's what the Cowboys are missing......and a better blocking Oline.
He doesn’t need holes, he needs to be used in space. They need to watch game tapes of Sproles from
Back in the day to see how to use him.

It seems most likely to me that the Cowboys' best chance to have a power RB to complement Tony Pollard would be Hunter Luepke.

This one has to be by a section contributing all needed rolls by percentages.

I believe he is a know it all, but I also believe he studies and works as hard as anyone.
He does? It’s been 8 weeks and he hasn’t figured out you can’t run pollard at the heart of the defense. A madden player knows more than MM.

Who they never utilize. Watch Philly sign Henry, and totally blow our minds.
