That happened to me 2. Even the guys like Mike Fisher and many others were saying he might not even make the team. They were laughing at the idea that he can heavily contribute. Its just hatred. The guy is a game changer, always has been.
Fisher was told that they weren't going to cut him weeks ago. He now says that he is in the running for the 2 spot.

I have to say I'm a little disappointed. I was hoping you'd show up with some more machismo about your football knowledge and double down on your "Book It!" schtick. Oh well. I'll have to settle for your backtracking spin move.
You need to stop making this about me, it’s becoming a personal attack. If you take away that 26 yard run, Vaughn only had 24 yards on seven carries. That’s less than 4 yards a carry.

We’ll see if you’re still celebrating when he’s not one of our top two backs entering the regular season. Lol He was playing against third stringers, and at one point he had 5 carries for 17 yards.
KJJ usually you keep a pretty level head ( and somtimes that is hard ** on this forum) but dont fall into the "Well if you take his good runs away he has a lower YPC" Now.. will Duece be RB2, in my opinion yes because i have watched him play many games against good defense in the NCAA and he does well... i can see the argument he may be RB3 also... i have a hard time thinking he doesnt make the team in this RB room though.

Just relax - it's all good. I'm sure if you investigated my posting history, you'll find plenty of dumb comments on my part. I'll even spot you with my dumb comments about trading Micah Parsons as an example. And no I wasn't attacking you personally, just your schtick. You can either admit that your comments about DV are premature or double down and take the heat. Either way, it's all good.

If you take away that 26 yard run, he averaged less than 4 yards a carry against third stringers. It’s something you have to look at. Had he started the game and broke off that run against Jacksonville‘s first team defense then I’m not mentioning it. I don’t care what he did in college. I want to see how he does against the top players in the NFL. Currently he’s our fourth back. We’ll see if he moves up a notch next week and gets an opportunity earlier.

he will get the opps, Im betting he gets them with the very limited time that any starting OL's play. I highly doubt we see TP this PS if we do it will be a flash and back to the bench.

Be careful! Last week I was told that I didn't know anything about football for suggesting DV will be the 2nd best RB and end up leading the team in all purpose yards this season.
Just believe in what you say and disregard the belligerent responses that get shot at everyone..
Many here agree and knew a lot about Deuce before he was ever even drafted here.

You’re starting to focus on me. I don’t come here with a schtick, I give honest, candid opinions.
I haven’t investigated your posting history, because I’m not focused on you, I’m here to talk football. All I’m saying is Vaughn will not be one of our top two backs entering the regular season, unless we suffer some injuries. He may move up the depth chart during the season, but he won’t be one of our top two backs entering the season. Bookmark this post and see if I’m wrong. No need to go on the attack because you don’t share my opinion. It’s better we just end the discussion here and see how it plays out.

To be fair, I picked a fight and wasn't taking the negative responses too seriously. It's all good!

Take away all of his long runs at KState and he wouldn't have been one of the best backs in the country.

We won’t see Pollard at all in preseason. I would like to see Vaughn get some early opportunities next week against some better players, because the third preseason game is pretty much all bubble players. However, Malik Davis and Rico Dowdle weren’t all that impressive, so the Cowboys still may want to see more of them next week.

I’m not looking to take away all his long runs. He had one real good play yesterday.

Here are your first comments in this thread:

"Everyone is pulling for him, but he’s not going to get near as many touches as fans are hoping for or are predicting he will get this season. Currently he has three backs listed ahead of him. I think he’ll make the team, but he could also end up on the practice squad."

not just at KJJ again he is good for real football conversations here. anytime someone uses this argument it makes me roll my eyes.... of course if I take out the best plays and keep the worst plays the players day will not look good..again not throwing shade @KJJ.

There you go! This is what I was waiting for! So much for your rooting for DV angle. That didn't last very long!
No there you go. Stop trying to start a fight and move on!

You mean pointing out your inconsistencies and spin moves? Yes I understand.
There’s no inconsistencies with me. All the spins are coming from you. I’ll be getting back to you and a couple of others on opening day. Lol

i just got done watching the game and vaughn has a good chance to be our third running back and special teams player his first year. he has a good moves. catches the ball out of the backfield pretty well. his size will limit him but he will see some plays this year.

Those are all honest opinions. You’re just looking to start a fight. You just keep following me around with more drivel.
