There’s no inconsistencies with me. All the spins are coming from you. I’ll be getting back to you and a couple of others on opening day. Lol
Oh I'm sure you'll get back to us....with more spin. You can't admit you were premature in your opinions about DV and you slammed people last week for believing in him. Then you just whined about me personally attacking you. Are there any mirrors where you live?

My opinion of Vaughn is that he won’t be one of our top two backs entering the regular season. How is that premature? You may already have him booked as one of our starters, but I don’t. By the way I haven’t slammed anyone, you’re the one doing the slamming. You continue to focus on me trying to start a fight. If you get locked out of this thread don’t blame me.

I just got through quoting back to you your first comments in the thread. And later on in the thread you conveniently tacked on the "entering the regular season" tag to give yourself an out for your lameness. But go ahead - keep going! You're doing great!

I’ve been saying all along that he won’t be one of our top two backs entering the regular season. If this board would allow us to go further back than a week I would prove it. All my comments about Vaughn have been consistent since the very day we drafted him. I’ve been saying from day one he’ll make the team, but that he won’t be one of our top two backs entering the regular season. I wouldn’t be talking about lameness with some of the lunacy you post. Lol We’ll find out who knows what they’re talking about come opening day.

Further than a week? There are posts dating all the way back to 2004. Wow you really are full of it! Instead of playing the victim card, just admit your views on DV were premature and that you trolled some of the believers last week. Not that hard. And yes I already admitted to posting dumb comments in other threads.

I’m gonna go ahead and say the Cowboys were probably even surprised that Deuce played that well, not because he isn’t talented, but Mike McCarthy even said in his postgame interview that he ran vanilla running plays instead of things designed for Deuces skillset, and the guy still balled out.

For all those saying 17 yards on 5 carry, just stop. Y’all know well and good that 5th Carry was a 5 yard loss from a completely unblocked DE who was on Deuce the moment he got the ball, and he STILL almost juked him. Before that he was averaging over 5yds a carry and was breaking tackles to do it. You can’t omit big gains but choose to not omit TFLs that the RB couldn’t do anything about. Foolishness

I've been reading this thread and I think KJJ was saying that DV was playing against 3rd stringers, true. But, on the flip side he also was not playing with the offensive starters, the big boys that can really open some holes for that squirt to squirt thru. I think he just might end up being the 3rd back on the team, I mean the little dude can ball.

Excellent first impression, looks like he can sustain it as well

If he repeats in game two I say sit him in game 3.

i just got done watching the game and vaughn has a good chance to be our third running back and special teams player his first year. he has a good moves. catches the ball out of the backfield pretty well. his size will limit him but he will see some plays this year.
He catches the ball very well. He runs good routes too. His size and agility is his strength.

Oh Lordy.

It's clear you didn't watch him at K-St or read scouting reports or watch any video of him or followed any of training camp so far.
His post was very ignorant. They aren't running him with the 1s in practice for nothing.

True. I recall Sproles being built thicker. I think they each carry the weight differently. Darren could absorb the hits I think returning kicks due to how thick he was up top. But I feel Deuce isn't the same ilk in that regard. I don't want him back there. He has much quicker vision and feet than Sproles. The burst is even better. Elite. His sense of when to juke and then cut is exceptional. Unreal. Darren was great but not that. But I get what your sayin. I just feel we need to get this kid in space on screens and let him do what he does. Use his size to his advantage. Let him be what he is, a rb with unique skills. He and Pollard can be very dynamic.
people theses days seem to disregard the eye test but it should have been obvious to anybody watching that Vaughn has that juice……no way he doesn’t make the 53 when his competitors are Malik Davis, Ronald Jones and Rico Dowdle…..those other guys may have some qualities but they don’t move like Deuce does

You need to stop making this about me, it’s becoming a personal attack. If you take away that 26 yard run, Vaughn only had 24 yards on seven carries. That’s less than 4 yards a carry.
I'd rather Deuce do that with the chance of breaking one over paying someone $18M this year for worse production.

If you take away that 26 yard run, he averaged less than 4 yards a carry against third stringers. It’s something you have to look at. Had he started the game and broke off that run against Jacksonville‘s first team defense then I’m not mentioning it. I don’t care what he did in college. I want to see how he does against the top players in the NFL. Currently he’s our fourth back. We’ll see if he moves up a notch next week and gets an opportunity earlier.
Those Barry Sanders spin moves, jukes, and jump steps work on any defender. Currently he is at least the 3rd back and trending up.

Keep going on the attack. Lol I’ll be slamming you and a couple of others real good when our starting lineup is announced for the regular season and Vaughn isn’t one of our top two backs. Good luck searching individual posts since the new format was added a few months ago. You can go all the way back to 2004, but you’re going to be doing it the hard way and it will be like looking for a needle in a haystack finding a quote from someone. On your phone, at least on my iPhone and MacBook Pro, you can only going back 15 posts. If you click to see more posts you get “Oops we ran into some problems.” Look up your own posts and see for yourself wise guy. Explain to me what comments I made that were premature about Vaughn? Don’t type out my comments, click on my actual quote and show me. You won’t find a single inconsistency.

"But what about blocking a free DE comming in"
A: thats a horrible blocking scheme and if that was designed then KM needs to be hung.
B: I have a crazy idea how bought we throw the ball to Duece while the guy who is suppose to be covering him is blitzing, i think that might work..lol
