So after 1 preseason game against #2's and #3's the entire league messed up allowing Vaughn to go to Dallas???? Damn man talking about anointing a rookie to greatness a little too soon.

His talent flashed. You can’t deny it. I just hope he continues to learn and grow. Once he figures this league out, watch out.

Exactly. The pessimistic crowd just has gone too far now. Now we have to temper expectations of players? Nah. I’m still a fan and I don’t get how anyone can’t get excited by him.

It is ok to be excited about a player you like.
But if you post here how great he is going to be after just 1 PS appearance in the 4th qrt against jag players, people are going to be pessimistic about
what your saying.

Even jerry and the coaches and mike, must not have been too excited about him or have much faith in him, because they
put him in the game so late.
If they felt like you do he would have started in the first and played against Jag starters.

Lets see if they start him earlier or give him more carries for this next game. that would say something.
if he is 4th qrt again, then they dont have much excitement about him.

Turpin ran 2 KO bk for td's in PS, none in 17 regular season games and 2 playoff games. they also never got him into the passing game, except for a few plays.

Even if doos is good, can the cowboys utilize him correctly? I doubt it as it took them 4 years to see pollard as the best RB.

I personally would like to see him in the game at start of game, not the end of the game.

Reading these comments, you'd think that Jerry gambled a second round pick on Deuce. How can ANY ONE not be happy with him and the early results? I literally don't understand how all of us aren't on the same page with him. Every single Cowboys' fan should be excited about how he looks. We won't all agree that it's going to translate into the regular season, but why would ANY ONE care if someone else has already boarded the hype express train?

I admit to hating the draft pick and seeing Deuce as not much more than a gadget guy. I never bought into the numbers at K-State cuz B12 defenses are terrible and I chalked the Bama game results up to a lack of interest by the Tide given (Bama standards apply) they weren't playing for anything.

Let me guess, just like every team in any conference that’s worth a crap they played 2-3 out of conference games to kickoff the season then had a run of conference games and maybe closed the regular season with a cupcake. I’m not checking but I’m sure I’m close.

I find it very hard to care less about who K-State plays. College football played in the middle of the country does absolutely nothing for me. If it’s your bag…that’s great.

It’s a process. Yeah we hate that term but they are working him slowly. Give the guy some confidence. Now he’s working with the 1s today. All I’m saying is people need to enjoy the ride. No point in being pessimistic about it. Either he’s gonna be good or not. Pessimism won’t change what he’s meant to be.
