and yes when i said she was a useless human being that was condescending and i'd tell him that to his face because it's in his best interest. i'd have to be friends with him first and establish a relationship since i don't know him it would come off as rude. when stating she was a crackhead wh_re, that wasn't condescending. i was just speaking about her actions in the past.

I still don't get why her being a crack head, assuming she still is one as I don't know her personally so I have no way of knowing if she is or not, some how justifies a supposed man laying his hands on her in any violent way.

It doesn't justify it if that indeed happened, but it does discredit her story to an extent. As others have said, drug addicts are magnificent liars because their way of life depends on it. It is hard to believe anything that comes out of her mouth knowing her history.

Drug addicts are some of the best liars out there, on par or even better in some cases than lawyers/politicians.

You are correct there.

However, a drug addict is not going to try to get the one millionaire in her life in trouble just out of spite.

Even taking the most cynical perspective on this, Dez is worth far more to her as a successful, highly paid athlete than a guy looking at a suspension and a questionable future

I may be completely off base here, but if the scenario played out something like this I could totally see how Dez could be in the right. Say he showed up to his mom's house and found out she had started up doing drugs again or he found drugs in her house. He gets angry because he's probably trying to support her. And instead of using his money for the right things like food and clothes, she's using his money to buy drugs. Naturally he gets angry and gets in an argument with her. Takes the drugs to throw them away or get rid of them or whatever. She gets upset and attacks him to stop him from taking the drugs he then defends himself and pushes her off him. Things get a little crazy she's upset at him for taking her drugs and calls the cops on him. He realizes she calls the cops on him and leaves.

Not saying this is how it played out but it's a very real possibility. We won't know till all the facts come out and we very well may not know. Dez might of gotten angry at her for doing drugs again and her saying she's tired of him always doing this to her could mean he's checked on her before and she had drugs before and he took them away. But his brother and some other guy were there and they didn't step in at all...dunno just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Again, just one way to look at it.

Garrett needs to suspend him. How many games should be determined by whatever additional pieces come out. But there is no way that you bring this sort of negative attention on your team without a suspension.

I don't care who we open against. Dez needs to sit.

Your wrong drug addicts will say and do anything at that present moment, then later on regret it.

There is physical evidence of something. It could just as easily be the fact that she went completely crazy on Dez and he just grabbed her so she didn't scratch his eyes out. A person has the right to defend himself. And now she yells to the world that her son "tried to kill her."

Let's see...known drug addict, habitual liar and her son has lots of money. Gee, did some of you ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe, she's just trying to establish grounds for a civil suit for a quick money grab so she can feed her addiction? Quit believing everything you hear without knowing a dang thing about it.

Let's face it... Dez's mom is a bit of a whack-o, fair to say. Who among us knows what she said or did to provoke things? Worth considering before judging Dez too harshly, IMO.
