That's my point. I don't think this offense is WR friendly, or necessarily depends on a WR to succeed. A TE might be of more value in all honesty; heavy run game, play-action down the seam... you know the story.

I don't think a high WR cap hit is worth it for us. You won't get the return playing in this offense.

Ironically, with Zeke gone... he actually IS worth it because you'd expect more balls coming his way. We'll see.

It will be interesting to see if Dez is capable of stepping up to the plate, because right now we have no other dynamic players on O. Philly will probably play really aggressive and try to do their best to take away any Dak short options. He is really going to have to prove that he can still be a threat down field (make them pay when they single him, and Dak has to hit those when available).

You don't have to convince me that JG is wasting talent; he is terrible. I'm sure Dez would be better utilized elsewhere. But let's also acknowledge that Dez has been shut down by opposing teams over the past few seasons.

The book has been written on him: he's awesome at playing physical and going after the 50/50 ball, but he's not going to get separation through great route running or explosive speed. Defenses simply don't fear him anymore.

There's no need to be an *** to make your point. One can be concerned about a player's performance without being a bad fan.
