I agree with you to an extent but I will add that Dak isn't doing him any favors. ***THIS IS NOT A BASH DAK STATEMENT *** With Tony at Qb Dez was at his best for 2 reasons. 1. Ball placement was better and 2. Tony trusted Dez more in 1 on 1 coverage. those two things combined allowed Dez to be confident and physical at the point of attack. Dak either forces it too him or doesn't give him a lot of accurate balls. at least this season it looks that way.
But the flipside to this is that Dez doesn't seem to have the same explosion he once had. He's had some 50-50 balls that he should have made a play (or would have made the play if this was 4 years ago) and he failed. The Dez of 4 years ago wouldnt' have alligator armed that one throw in the Eagles game like he did.
I am of the mind that when things go awry, the flaws of everyone involved really come shining through. So right now, we are seeing the flaws of Dak, Dez and this coaching staff really highlighted.
