Dez: Get ready to take the blame Dak

So, if Dak doesnt sign an extension (which Jerry may be nerves of paying, if its $60m per ON A SHORT TERM), then why should Jerry restructure 'everyone's' contract to help in 2024, when it would leave us in the same situation next year ....and with Dak able to walk away as we wont have the money to give him the best deal. This way, taking the CAP hit in 2024 at least resets and gives us a chance (of even re-signing Dak) in 2025.

Ok so if I give people THIS year is Dak’s fault because of his salary being too high. (It still doesn’t make any sense, but I’ll go with it)

Now who’s to blame for the last 11 years of inactivity and lack of any attempt of building a Super Bowl winning team?
Ultimately this falls on Jerry and Enos. Every single stupid decision including the Dak contract situation lead to this. You can't overpay your own players while ignoring key positions. Which brings us to exactly where we are right now.. a complete mess.

well yes

dak want all the money dak can have all the blame

that is why franchise qb get so much because they can elevate every one around them and they get less talent because of the salary cap

well dak cant but real franchise qb can
Yep...that's what happens when you "negotiate" the majority of the money. You didn't feel no-help sorry THEN.

Suck it up buttercup. Cash yer checks and shut it. Not feeling sorry for ya.

Ole Skelector trick 101....Blame your highest paid player for your failures.. 28 years of highest paid players causing all this.....Jerry be like "you get a sucker"-you get a sucker-anymore Cowboy fans left??? I have plenty of suckers.....

You're saying WRs 2 & 3 are good? Where's the starting RB? Where's the starting Oline, specifically Center and Tackle? Come on, speak up! Where are they for 2024??? Even Romo never had it this bad.
You've been blaming the line for Daks bad games for years. You're about to see just how good he is behind an actually bad line, not a made up one.

Brandon Cooks was supposed to be a hired gun.
Cooks was paid like a quality 2 who could take the top off defenses and it just didn't turn out that way.
Not horrible production, but he was beaten by Ferguson, 4th round TE in his sophomore season.

30 of yall liked this dumb *** post? Jalen Hurts got paid and he's not even a better QB than Dak. Do you see Howie Roseman asking Jalen to elevate everyone around him? Nope, he gives him AJ Brown and two years later, Saquon Barkley. He's also trying to shore up their defensive holes. The difference is he doesn't have a lifetime contract as GM. He has to do what our GM doesn't. Can't take years off.

Without Tyron and Biadasz replaced with a rookie or veteran retread, more like an average oline. Steele probably does have a bounceback season, though.

Victim mentality... Sounds familiar.
Expecting the most valuable Franchise to use ALL the tools allotted to build a contending team is considered "Victim Mentality"

Dak Haters are very smart people

It is clearly Dak's fault we have no cap space even thought it has been proven we can free up $60M keeping Dak's contract as is.

It's not Dak's fault, it's management's fault for agreeing to if they felt he wasn't worth it. But apparently they feel he earned it according to the payscale of the quarterback market.

You said some QBs carry squads "on their own". Yes, I know you didn't mean they snap the ball to themself, but my comment is no more nonsensical than the claim some QB's can win without quality players on his team - that they alone can carry a team without help from others with talent.

Again, I conceded that some can do more than Dak did with less help - that's a reasonable comment. Your comment that other QBs can carry teams without help is not reasonable. Not even close

Of course now you're moving away from what you said. You're now arguing Mahomes could have done more with the talent the Cowboys had than Dak did, which isn't an argument at all because I already agreed Mahomes can do more than Dak. But that wasn't your orignal argument. Your original argument is Dak needs help and Mahomes doesn't.
Mahomes doesn’t need help. Andy didn’t pay Hill for a reason and he was right. They don’t break the bank for weapons like have to elevate Dak

LOL you can't use Mahomes as an example. Mahomes is probably the only QB in this league that could win a SB with that Chiefs team.
Joe Burrow then...and also, Mahomes was carried by his defense. I seen't it here on these boards.

Blaming the Oline for Dak's bad games for years? Nope. Just been blaming the Oline for everything. Get it right. The Oline has stunk for years now. Not even Romo had it this bad.
