Defense minded FA and draft. I believe thats all that is standing between this team and the playoffs

New poster eh?
I already like you.
As for the post: let's hope you're right and they do that- then it's all up to injuries, coaching, some luck and a lot of desire on the player's parts.

Then... vee shall zee.

Lions game, second eagles game, green bay game. All late 4th quater tds to put us in the lead for the win. How much more of a clutch WR can you get? I would never trade this guy regardless of what we could get in return. Future HOF if he can stay injury free. The man has put the off field stuff behind him and I can't wait to see another 100 Xs thrown up

I would trade him for a 2nd round pick in this seasons draft and a 3rd in 2015.

Thank you. And yes you're right we also need a lack of coaching gaffs, a few lucky bounces of the ball our way, the injuries (which have destroyed us the last 2 seasons) and our players having the hunger for playoffs as well as an improved defense. I realize that last year is not the same as this year but man if we had even been average 16/32 on defense we would have been 11-5 and the #3 seed in the playoffs. Its crazy.

Can you further elaborate on why? He is our best weapon on offense a top 5 player at his position and the heart on offense. Trading that for a 2nd this year and a 3rd next year seem foolish to me. Perhaps you have a different line of thinking?

I am still trying to figure out the 2nd Eagles game part...when did he have a TD catch that gave the Cowboys the lead?

You, my friend, get it. I couldn't agree more.

I wish I could straight up UNLIKE this post.
No disrespect, but disrespect man...

You're wishing for this braintrust to hit on two lower picks to perform (which their past record is sketchy at best on such endeavors) as well as a truly Elite player- true first rounder is hitting right now.

Good luck with that, brother.
We've seen too many gaffe's from this FO to trust them to replace a Prime, Elite, Game-Changing level player with lower tier who-know's-whats.

Remember when they traded down to get mo' and mo' players in the 2009 NFL Pro Football Amateur Draft?
I don't. And neither should you have.

Don't get me wrong bud- loved your reckless aggressiveness from the beginning.
You make this board more interesting.

That dude that wears # 9 throwing him those TD's isn't too shabby either huh? ;)

also crazy that year before last people were comparing him to Hakeem Nicks and concluding that Dez wasn't quite as good. Now Nicks spiraled down hill while Dez kept escalating his game and now Dez is an all star while Nicks got devalued so badly he was flat out released.

You're missing the point. I don't see it as lame at all.

Me neither. That's clutch. He can't control the other side of the football.

He's one of the best players in the game, not just WRs. He's clutch. He's young. He's grown up. He can't stand losing to a near Michael Irvin level. He's not just about the money. He loves the game. It's okay to feel good about one of our players.

The benefit in trading DB is that we don't break open the bank in trying to sign this guy. I don't trust a guy with issues but take that off the table and look at the money saved (13-16 mil per) and sign a free agent that helps an area of need. Remember none of the champions spend big money on WR. None. Now Dallas gets a few early round picks that are on rookie salary. Dallas would have got a few nice years from DB and now gets a group of even younger players and contracts that replace him. You always have the option to go out and get a FA. DB will NEVER be worth more than he is now on the trade market.

My previous statement you didn't quote was not addressed.
That one was more to the point than my nicey-nice post you have quoted.
Abordar esta sería una cosa maravillosa.
