Can someone update me on this nfl thing at 7? I'm at work and won't get to see it
No. 50 cent is still loaded. He filed chapter 11 because he lost a lawsuit and doesn't want to pay the 5 million. He's still more then ok.
After the deadline on Wednesday, the only option for Dez or the Cowboys, barring a trade, is to play for the Tag. That's it.

Nothing so far
"Will Dez Sign or Sit" is the tag line
Ah. I get it. Generating clicks and boosting viewers. I thought there would be some actual information
I can't help but to wonder if this was the Cowboys plan all along.
I thought it was strange to not use the franchise tag to lock Murray up for a year without having to commit to a huge guarantee over several years. I wondered why they didn't sign Dez to a long term deal and franchise Murray. I can't help but to think Dallas isn't really negotiating with any real intent to arrive at a long term deal with Dez. It really is looking like this was the plan all along.
Dez Bryant - WR - Cowboys
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports the Cowboys are offering unsigned franchise player Dez Bryant more than $12.8 million per year in long-term talks, but that the sides "have a long way to go."
$12.8 million is what Bryant would make under the franchise tag. Although Rapsheet reports Bryant is seeking "more than Megatron money" — Calvin Johnson's deal is for eight years and $150.5 million — the Cowboys apparently aren't buying his holdout threat because of how much time he's spent at the team facility this offseason. Nevertheless, Rapsheet's colleague Rand Getlin reports that "sources close" to Bryant "insist" he's ready to stay away. We'll have a much clearer idea of where the sides stand in 24 hours.

#PayDezBryant I'm with Dez on this one! They had no problem paying Witten and Romo....
You want to pay him more than Megatron? Calvin Johnson's deal is for eight years and $150.5 million.
No wideout is worth that money.

how about a round or weapons malfunctioning and blinding myself for life...
Come out to the oil rigs and see what roughnecks do without 13 million guaranteed. Or go up to the NW and watch loggers work for a week.
I'd love to see Dez standing on a rotary table with a 40 ft drillpipe swinging around his head.
A lot of jobs are dangerous and none of them get paid 1/10 in their entire cumulative careers compared to what Dez can make in one season on the franchise tag.
If you can't be set for life with 13 million dollars, no amount of money is going to get you financially secure. That excuse is ridiculous.
