They had 0 impact in an embarrassing loss. Dez had 2 catches for 12 yards. Sean Lee got hurt again.

The offense in general had 0 impact on the game, and are you going to overlook Romo overthrowing Dez on a crucial 3rd down? Say what you want but it's time to stop blaming the D and focus on our pathetic offense that can't score no matter how many possessions they get. They scored 28pts in a blowout loss, yet they have trouble scoring in tight low scoring games.

The difference is....they are not used right to be real threats. They don't have the natural athletic ability that Dez has. They are good receivers but they don't scare anyone.

who cares if they dont scare anyone they are productive and can be even more productive with development. They are adequate #2 and #3 WR's. look at the PATS Wrs

bs williams and beasley are good wrs .

I never said they weren't. But Beasley is a slot guy, and twill isn't consistent yet. So if you're game planning against us, you make sure Dez won't get thrown to first off. But receivers after Dez don't scare anyone.

Wanna see what a pair of solid 1 and 2 receivers looks like? Rewatch tonight's Bears game.

You missed the point. Garrett/Callahan does not know how to use them correctly. We saw Beasley for a split second tonight and then he was gone, same with Twill. Other teams know this and key in on Dez and Witten. Until they are used properly, it won't matter. This is a coaching fault.

Yeah, one of which we tossed away remember? Now Danny is getting paid.

miles is supposed to be the deep threat across from Dez, who's getting paid elite WR money and I can't ever tell if he's out there. Do you think there just MIGHT be a receiver out there that could be an equal threat as Dez for what Austin is making?

There's lots, but JJ fell in love with him after one game against the chiefs. So now we are missing a weapon that a normal NFL team has

Dez leave this team while you can, because this is all you're going to get under Jerrah. This entire organization needs to be blown apart and built from scratch to get to the Superbowl again.

Yea Dez would be insane to sign with this team ever

Its hard to take Sean Lee seriously. I think he is a very very good player...but the man is fragile. And its hard to assume a leadership role when you cant stay on the field.
Did you see what happened after Lee went out.

The bears run game was not going anywhere - the announcers even said "I dont know why trhe bears aren't running with the lead they have".

Next play Lee goes out. The bears promptly run the ball almost every play after and for 6 plus yards a carry. The defense is bad but when lee goes out it is so much worse

I'm not gonna give up on Dez until we have a new system in place. I truly believe JG's anemic offense is holding him back. I'd hate to see this guy leave and turn into the player we all thought he would be.

This is what? 6 years running with JG's pathetic offense? Enough already. I would love for us to lose out and Jerrah have no choice but to clean house. Just for the sake of this team's future.

Ridiculous. Dez would be putting up crazy numbers in a better scheme.

No you're missing the point they want more soft, happy-to-be-here guys in Dallas who can care less if they win or lose. What a joke.

Dez should be fed up. I've never been one of the "someday Dez will overtake Megatron" or "Dez is the 2nd best WRs in the league" fans, however, he is an elite WR and I am beyond shocked that Garrett / Callahan / Romo / (somebody else) have been so incompetent that they don't even look Dez's way most of the time.

How many guys have we said that about? Scheme has nothing to do with it. He drops too many passes and is very inconsistent.

If Brady had Bryant he would have 80 catches already, who are you kidding?

Oh and that guy playing TE for the Bears would disagree with you.

That's not why I wouldn't sign him.

I just wouldn't because this team needs to clean the cap up and build from inside out.

By the time they get this thing right we won't have a qb again.

The only guy that is getting a contract from me if I am in charge is smith. All resources need to go into line play.

The team can figure out the rest when the lines are good and the coaching is better,

But I have no illusions I know Jerry will give Dez a ton of money next year, it's not even an issue.
I just think we should take our lumps in 2014, find a coach with a real plan and a front office guy who knows what he is doing and build inside out and look at 2015 as a year to maybe fight for the east.

Right now giving Dez money on a team that will need a bunch of new payers seems misplaced to me.

But again, the jones's will give him a ton hire mike Zimmer and say everything is great in about six weeks.

Have you seen the Pats offense withouut Gronk? The mere threat of Dez makes every other receiver look better than they are. Anyone who thinks this offense would be just as good w/o him are fooling themselves.

I heard JJ watched a video of Buddy Ryan's 46 defense and will switch to that this summer. He has called in none other than Buddy's grandson Seth to oversee the process.

No need to fret, Seth has plenty of football experience at the High School level.
