I'm not calling out any fake fans because I don't care, paid to work construction not watch Dallas fans implode like an old casino. BUT- there sure are a lot of people getting offended and calling him dumb, and a few other names.... he may not be as smart as you Einsteins but he doesn't have to be, you could never do what he does and yet feel free to diminish him as a person. Definition.

I wonder what the overlap is between the people who turned on Dak after his 2nd loss of the season and the people who have turned on Dez already is. Probably pretty significant, right?

This is yet another in a long line of bad posts by you

What are you implying with this?
Why should there be "overlap"?
Please stop the closet innuendo

Many who are fans of Dak don't like Dez antics and his disappearing act in games along with bad route running and poor understanding of the offense

Get over it Dez and talk when you consistently make plays and run routes precisely all season

And get over it fake fans with faux outrage

Apparently a lot of you did see all the racist crap posted about Dez and Dakota after that game, besides the general whining and moaning about Romo needing to start over Dakota. It's out there it's just not allowed here so don't get it twisted and believe this forum is the norm and even if they don't read that stuff they have family and friends that I'm sure report it to them. Dez is who Dez is, he speaks on it if you don't like it burn his jersey which half on here should have never bought one with the dislike they have for him.

LOL What? Oh wow some random guy says something racist on twitter and it causes Dez to blow up?

Please.

Good lord there was a lot more than some random guy but it's ok buddy, I guess I should have spelled out its the whole issue of any social media site whining and moaning. I'm sure wittle Dezzy Wezzy could handle that but pretty sure he is tired of the fake fans period and for him and his definition of a fake fan they came out in full fake fan forcedom last week. You don't have to like it him or anything associated with him but that's how he feels about fake fans. I don't know Dez , so I can't tell him he is wrong, but since everyone has an opinion on how he should feel and how he should respond you should contact him to change his
mindset for all the people he believes are fake fans.

(And the racist rants were all you got out of the post?)

Half of this forum had an aneurysm after tonight's game.
Or maybe 3-4 out of hundreds that didn't?

If you're insinuating that there a bunch of people pulling for Dallas to lose (and especially Dak to fail) then I think you're grossly overestimating how many are out there.

It wasn't meant to be closeted. I thought it was obvious and not necessary to explain further. There's probably overlap between fans who couldn't hold their water over Dak and the ones who can't hold their water over Dez, with the common denominator being that they can't hold their water. Because emotionally-based decision making tends to be consistent that way.

I didn't suggest the overlap was perfect, though. So, for example, if you turned on Dez, but not Dak, congrats on being half right. Because that would be an improvement for you.

Because
Good gosh. Will Dez ever outgrow this nonsense?
Players rip fans all the time when they're being unreasonable. Did you see this fanbase last week. People were saying Dak gets a half vs Tampa to prove he can keep the job. Do grown men and women outgrow this nonsense when things aren't all sunshine and daffodils??

I agree, it's one thing to criticize Dak after he makes some bad plays, but another to call for him to get benched everytime he has made a bad play or had a bad game. The same ones pushing for their Romp agenda would be some of the same saying that people are hating on Romo when someone called for him to get benched after every bad game that he had.

Dak is our starter right now and if he has a bad game we stick with him, just like all of the other teams with a solid/good QB would stick with their QB after a bad game. Some want to ignore what happened in the 11 game win streak, just because Dak has one bad game and that's a shame.

He had a bad game vs NY. It happens? What's with the all season crap? This fanbase overreacts to one loss like it's the end of the world. Show me the team or player that's consistent for 16 weeks in a row.

No one is "turning on" anyone
Players who do their job are liked by most fans
If you're being paid 15-16 million and you can't produce, fans will be unhappy
What exactly has Dez done since he signed that mega contract that you were clamoring for? Bad judgement on the part of the FO and people like you who wanted him paid
Not difficult to understand

It is not unreasonable to think that Dak is a rookie and Romo is a very very good QB and that he can be an option if Dak struggles

Posting something divisive like "fans are turning on Dak" just shows lack of understanding and maturity. Maybe you're in high school?

You also clearly implied something else, when trying to conflate Dak and Dez, and are now back tracking when called out because this is your usual MO

Like is said "long line of bad posts"

"One game" is laughable
Show me the Dez contract and his production since signing the contract
It's not one game

Put some context into what you expect. We're a run first team. He's not going to put up Julio Jones numbers in this offense.

To me a "fake fan" is someone who only roots for their team when they win. "Misguided" may be the best description ...

Are you telling me it wasn't the offensive line that went 32/36?
The offensive line didnt go 32/36 for 8 yards a pass but they probably couldve passed for a TD cuz they sure did their job and opened a hole the size of a cadillac for Dak to walk into the endzone.

If you were bothered by the "fake fan" comment, then yes, you should be. He's talking about you.

Enough said, but I'll add;

I am not one to begrudge fans some amount of angst when things are bad, we all get frustrated.

But the people on this forum ready to jump off a bridge (or rather, force someone else off one) while the team was 12-2 should be embarrassed at their weakness.

This is a thread about Dez commenting on people turning on Dak. That's the literal thread topic.

The personal stuff I'm leaving alone again because it's not worth replying to.
