Dez showed up to today's workout

You said your wrong but you keep talking about Dez track record. What track record that includes him missing practice? Dude loves football, tried to practice and play with the bad ankle injury, trainers had to keep him off the field, even wanted to play in the meaningless final preseason game. He doesn't have a track record of missing practice at all. Not sure what you're talking about and frankly I don't think you do either..

I could care less if you can get what I'm talking about. Already said I was wrong, and the part of him loving football was a great point. Whether you can get what I'm talking about or not doesn't phase me at all.

You're right his track record doesn't include missing practice. But the track record includes "stupid" things, and with his off the field incidents it was hard for me to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Not sure what is worse. Jumping to conclusions about a player who has had a horrible offseason or a bunch of posters continuing to hammer someone who has already admitted to being wrong. Geez.

The former. :)

For me, any poster being wrong is no big deal. We're all wrong at times. Dez has no track record of missing practice or doggin it, or being lazy. The kid loves to play football and practice..

No argument there. But it's human nature to form an opinion one way or the other when stuff like that get's thrown out.

My view regarding Dez Bryant AWAY from the football field isn't a very good one, so things like that always have me thinking the worst.

Like I said, I know we should wait till all the facts come out, but with players like Dez who have a bit of a history of doing dumb things, it's hard to give them the benefit of the doubt and not jump to conclusions.

You said the magic words. "Jump to conclusions".

You can't have a conclusion until you have all the facts. People that have a tendency to do that eventually end up wrong, looking like fools.

So, stop it!

Try reading about the lockout!

Therein lies the problem. Some of us tend to just take something unrelated to our real reasons for hating a player and pound it to death only to end up looking like fools in the end. Just state the real reasons and press on. ;) The truth shall set you free.

Glad he showed up, and as I said if he had a real engagement I can understand his missing the first workout.

He should have been there from the get go otherwise, I don't see how that's debatable.

Wait a second, aren't we at risk of running some of these posters off for pointing out when they're wrong?

any word on where they are working out? im thinking highland park or southlake/grapevine area?

You really must have a vendetta against me. Or you REALLY like stirring the pot.

Already said I was wrong.

Why didn't I think about it yesterday? I did think about it, but decided that I had enough information to base my opinion off of it, and was wrong about it. Thought Dez was up to shenanigans again.

What else do you freaking want?

*Stop acting like you're some perfect person of judgement and have never jumped to the wrong conclusion*

What evidence were you going by?

Where is that banjo?

Not sure why people get grief about this anyway. It's not like it was an illegitimate complaint. It was perfectly valid to be concerned that he wasn't showing up with a lot of the others, especially after the meeting with Jerry falling through.

People are just making judgments on the facts they have at the time. I'm sure no one has a problem taking back what they say when more information comes out. If you don't like people to comment on events then just disallow speculative threads in the first place.

Tupperware, I agree. I think we should all just be happy he's there, worried or not, what really matters is what he does on Sundays. Personally, I'm psyched to see what he can do with a full year of Tony taking snaps.

What he does on sundays is really going to hinge on what he's doing now in the offseason and that goes for the entire team, not just Dez...

There is another cool word..."worried".

You people worry to much about the Cowboys. Stop it.

Don't worry, be happy!

Jumping to conclusions without all the facts, will make you worry. Why?

You worry worts just love the Boyz to much that it makes you worry.

Settle down...it's all good.;) ;)

lol, I agree 5stars. If I were to start worrying now, I'd be in the hospital by the time the season started. I'll save my worrying for game days.
