Not a good sign for our Cap! LOL

Chicago's Brandon Marshall signed a three-year, $30 million extension last week that made him the seventh wide receiver that has a contract with an average annual value of at least $10 million, joining Detroit's Calvin Johnson, Arizona's Larry Fitzgerald, Seattle's Percy Harvin, Miami's Mike Wallace, Kansas City's Dwayne Bowe and Tampa Bay's Vincent Jackson.
I love Dez, but I have strong opinions on the WR position. The only player on this list that has realistically competed for a superbowl was Percy Harvin, and while he was definitely a factor in that game, clearly he was no factor in getting to the playoffs and Seattle was alright without him.
I want Dez to be on this team, but I do not believe that an individual WR is a key position in playoff success.
have fun taking replies from the DB fan club.
He did use the words, "hometown discount" but folks shouldn't take that to mean he's only gonna want a bare bones deal..
Besides he's earned his big pay raise.

This isn't a surprise. We've known for a couple of years Dez should get his money and now the bill is due. It seems the off the field stuff is behind him now and no one should question his heart or desire. Pay the man and move on.
