Diablo III Tomorrow

5:30pm CST yesterday i paid via paypal. not sure why it takes now almost 17+ hours later to process the payment OR when i write to ask what the hold up is, i'm told 24-48 hours for even a reply

this is driving my blood pressure crazy. i really really really was looking forward to this game and paid for it in good faith but this "queued" crap means i have no key, no way to install and no way to cancel the payment through blizzard so i hope that's what i did on paypal.

for something i was so looking forward to playing at this point i just don't give a damn anymore because i can't even get them to take my $$$ or get back to in quicker than up to 2 days. i was hoping to be a part of the day 1 fun but NOOOOOOOOOOO - that's out the door. now i just want my $ back and maybe i'll try when all the fuss is over and we have an offline mode.

Took about 15 mins total for me to install and patch the game.

Those patches just get bigger and bigger. I supposed if you play it for a month then never play it again, it won't be an issue.

I got two shotted on my Demon Hunter against the ACT 1 boss yesterday. Of course I had no idea what was going to happen. Good times.

Something I noticed.

When I first started playing, I played with some guys I know. We went slow breaking up stuff to get coins and stuff, but was making our way through the game.

The US servers went down last night, so I decide to go screw around on the Asia servers. I already had a level 5 Demon Hunter there as when I first got the game, the US servers were down and the Europe servers wouldn't let me connect. (ERROR 37)

Anyhow. Last night I joined the Asia server and decide to just play a public game rather than a private game with friends. I'm not sure if it was just last night, but the quality of the magic drops were so much better and I was getting a lot more of them. My level 7 Demon Hunter has some better armor than my 11 WD with much much less playing time. My WD was level 10 when I beat the Skeleton King (playing solo), when I joined last night with my 5 DH, we raced through it and killed the Skeleton King by the time I was level 7.

I think I'm going to play a lot more public games rather than private. Just try to get my friends into those servers. Though, you've got to make sure you don't play with some idiot that causes wipes.

In d2 if you had more people in the game, the monsters/npcs hp would go up and their chances to drop magical items rose slightly as well. Did you have a full game?
