Introspection is tough.
So far you have said that most millennials cannot read, write, or talk and have a sense of entitlement as you profile all the negative traits that you've thought up. You say you love them but it is what it is. With friends like these. . . .
When I find Boomers doing this and I see it a lot, I try to remind them of the 60s and 70s and what was said about them and to compare and contrast. Cause this is the thing, millennials are not stupid and they do pay attention. The next 20 years are going to be very interesting.
I simply have no idea where you're going. Your extrapolation of what I said is ridicules. Where did I say they cannot read? I didn't. Where did I say they couldn't write? I didn't. I said they prefer not to talk - that's true - neither do I to be honest. I prefer to text and email as well. So I sat around and tried to think al the negative stuff up I could find? Where did I say they are stupid? I said to their credit they will be responsible for incredible changes coming to society. As my father used to say you look but you don't see - you listen but you don't hear.
The mistake I probably made was not to acknowledge my appreciation for their generation while pointing out their traits, which by the way they pointed out to me..
I think my generation has been the most selfish, self centered money grabbing generation in history. We were the BMW driving yuppies who were involved in the Savings and Loan scandal in the 80's. We were totally consumption based in the 90's and once we got into positions of real power we virtually sabotaged the entire financial system of this country through greed and arrogance.
Tell you what else - I wonder if you really have any idea of what the next 20 years hold because I have an idea and I learned it all millennials. Do you know about the death of truckers and the social implications as self driving trucks hit the roads in three years? They're already here:

Are you aware of of AI and the fear of Singularity? Do you know about the ramifications of 3D printing? Do you know how historic EM drive could be? Do you know what CRISPR is? Are you aware of the SENS project with Dr. Aubrey DeGrey and life extension? How about the implications of a basic social income due to the lack of jobs from AI and robotics by the year 2040. If you don't look it all up. It's all coming.
I learned all about this stuff from the kids I'm around every day. In fact, I've showed some of them your response today and their response was, "Dude, you of all people got ripped by somebody about us?" Oh the irony indeed, they thought it was funny as hell. Of every poster who read my original post you are the only one who took it this way so if I thought I wrote an offensive post I would immediately apologize. I don't see the need in this case. This is a you problem.
Please don't reply Fuzzy - I won't read it. Time to move on. Doesn't mean I haven't liked your posts in the past or will continue to read them in future. I respect your knowledge of the team - I know you love the Cowboys as do I. I'm just not going to defend a position that absolutely doesn't need any defending.
