Is it possible he may not know the playbook. I believe they preach, knowing the playbook, knowing your assignments, and doing what you know.

Lol, half the team doesn't know the play book
Romo had to constantly tell people where to line up
Weeden doesn't do it because he is also a buffoon

Tyron, Fred, Martin all started as rookies. They've been using new players like WRs Butler and #85. On defense Hitchens started 11 games last season. Jones is playing a lot of snaps this season. Wilson has played. Collins played over Bernadeau when Leary was out.

I will admit that they've been overly committed to Hayden and Free in the past but now they don't really have better options other than moving Collins to RT.

I think you can add .....overly committed to Leary at this point to......IMO its time to see Collins.....Rookie is the future and needs the reps....Something is not right with Leary

There was a Christine Michael sighting yesterday, but it was another all too brief one. And it got me wondering why? He had a nice carry for 6 yards that looked to provide a spark, but right after, it looked like he turned to our sidelines and made a bit of a mocking gesture, opening his arms wide as if to say 'do you see what I can do?' After that move, I didn't see him in the field again and I can't help but wonder if the decision was related to that move.

I'm not sure about that, but I am sure they should have benched Weeden !!!

Whatever happened to keep playing the hot hand. I mean if a running back or receiver is hot you are supposed to keep going to him until he gets cold. In the NBA if a shooter is hot the pg is supposed to keep feeding him.

CMike makes a nice run, pops up and says " see what I can do". If I'm a coach, I'd be like " ok CMike show me again!" And if he gets another good one, we keeping riding that horse. Switching rbs in and out gets them cold and they can't get into a groove. Could you imagine switching qbs every series, good lord.

There's a reason Seattle gave him away for nothing in place of a beaten up old veteran on his last legs.

Michael was a knucklehead at A&M, and that gesture just showed that he doesn't get it.

However, I think falling way behind was the reason he was out of the game. They needed backs that understood the pass protection responsibilities better at that point.

And Randle isn't of the same knucklehead mode?
I'm a BIG Randle supporter.... Cmike firs our O-Line better with Randle as a change of pace

You get the sense that Garrett might have had had some pressure from above to get him some carries and he waited for the game to be almost out of reach before giving him his one snap.

Just odd.

I said the exact same thing after his gesture. I told my girl he just got himself benched for that lil move and about 3 seconds later here comes randle. I told her he wouldn't be back in and he wasn't.

At this point he could be the next Bo Jackson and we'd never know. He's obviously terrible at something though, otherwise he'd see the field more than once a game. I do agree, there needs to be some sort of rhythm established with the running backs. The current merry-go-round isn't working.

How bad can CMike be if they trust a underwear thief who ignores coaches insturctions more than him?
If he's that bad, why is he still on the team? This makes no sense .

Also not playing him because he doesn't know the pass protection scheme is complete BS. We always run on first down anyways. Put him in and see if he can get us more than 1 yard on first down.

Clearly they don't know. And you do, because you see practice every day while they don't.

Just odd.

Odd - just like the incessant starting of Brandon Weeden. Garrett Puppet Jesus.
