MM can't go out there and make Dak throw good or make our ko returner catch the ball. MM has done his part. MM should though push to get a better quality QB with more consistency and do away with this friend zone B.S.

They were obviously playing very vanilla and hoping to catch a Washington team down and out. But Washington came to play. We can only hope the thorough butt whipping will light a fire under the team.

I know Cowboys can play much better than they did, they looked pathetic out there yesterday and I don't think this was by design. I also do not expect this kind of play next week.
MM directed Moore to be bland. He told the starters play a half and a series and I will get you out BUT this is the NFL and the teams are so close now that if you take your foot off the gas even a little you can half this type of performance. This had a preseason type feel. Remember Brad Sham said they would be trying things and remember coming out of half they said they wanted to pull players. It didnt workout like that. MM wanted tbay and he got them now prepare for it. You better have some changeups like moving Micah around AND up the middle hitting the weakest link. Tom Brady needs to have someone in his face just watch cinnci and the saints game. Hit their weakest links on D too.

As I watched (disgusted) yesterday's game and saw just how pervasive the lethargy and half-assed efforts were across the board on this team I found myself wondering? Was this done on purpose? Could Mike McCarthy be like me in that he doesn't trust this team when it's riding high and the media is all caressing their ..er.. private parts. Could he had instructed both coordinators to present a preseason level game plan and really never put much into the game? If it had been one side of the ball I might feel differently.. but the defensive effort was sporadic, the special teams were horrible.. the receivers dropped balls, the QB was off, the backs looked like they were running in quicksand and my lord, the offensive line looked like they would struggle to block Baylor.

Everybody stunk.. If it wasn't an outright tank then they need to get the name of whoever catered the pregame meal and never use them again and never stay at whatever hotel they stayed at again either. If it wasn't taking, food poisoning or somebody pulling the fire alarm at 3 am, then this team will have a short visit to the playoffs if it can't play about 20,000 miles above what they showed us yesterday.
no, they looked uninspired, lazy, not focused, mailed it in, weren't ready. that includes Dak, coaches, and almost every player on the team. it was one of the most uninspired, pathetic performances I have ever seen. if this game would have been in dallas, I would demand my money back for the performance they put forth

Organic sucking or orchestrated tank whatever it is they better figure it out by next week or this is gonna be a very long offseason. The good news is that getting Hankins and LVE back will certainly help the run defense and presumably the will stop the merry go round at left corner and just settle on Wright and Bland over there. The bigger concern is the offense. Yesterday may have been the worst display of receivers not helping their QB I've ever seen. If the ball didn't hit them right in the face they weren't catching it. That lack of focus was troubling to say the least. Yes some of the balls were slightly high or slightly behind but professional receivers catch those 99 out of 100 times.

Then there is the matter of Dak.. Was he off because of the constant pressure or was he just off? And why did he continue heave it deep on 3rd and medium? This was like the Denver game all over again. He just kept taking the deep shot when there were possible first down throws there for the taking.

People will bang on the backs for lack of production but for the 4th or 5th week in a row the offensive line simply got whupped.. When that happens you aint runnin the ball I don't care who you have in the backfield. If that doesn't get fixed the entire playoff game will be on Dak and his suddenly unreliable receivers. I have to admit I don't have a good feeling about this team heading into next week. Everything looked off yesterday. Hopefully it was just guys showing their lack of emotional maturity (again).. and just not putting in the work to give a good performance. And hopefully with all the slings and arrows they will have to take from the media this week they will get knocked back on track.

Bland or not does not excuse the play. As for wildcard game, I fully expect this team to come out and perform much better and win, but I can't sit here and excuse the way this team played yesterday.

They should at least claim they tanked to make it look better. Even the homers have turned on them.

I think even MM cant that's why he left them out there. I did see where they were out until early sat morning partying I dont know how much affect that had but different guys hear things differently. I guarantee you MM said to them now I dont want anyone getting hurt but….

Why on earth would MM play his crucial starters as long as he did if tanking was the goal?

That make no sense at all.
Dak’s TO problem has been all year.

Commanders, like the Broncos last year, we’re basically able to contain the run while rushing 4 and made Dak into a passer.

They also tried going hurry up and, as usual, got a TD right before the half. Then Dak comes out dancing to start the third like it was going to be a cake-walk.

If that was the strategy, who should have been canned first if the Eagles didn't pull it out yesterday? They didn't exactly steamroll the Giants.

..they played down to competition. Wash came out guns blazing, like kids in kandy store. Nothing to play for.

Dallas knowing the odds were largely in favor of ending at 5th seed. Regardless what happened.

I kinda felt this would be awkward game.
