Disturbing rumor re: Rolando McClain

I think the problems lies in some peoples expectations. I doubt "all of us" are counting on him to help the team. Perhaps a good portion of people were hoping he would help the team, but I doubt a majority of people were counting on him. Considering the circumstances of his career and the low rounder it took for Dallas to get him, it was unrealistic to count on the guy. Maybe he can help and maybe he won't, but he was never a guy that fans should have placed high expectations upon.

Fair enough hoping would have been a better word.

l] verb (used with object), dissembled, dissembling.
1.
to give a false or misleading appearance to; conceal the truth or real nature of: to dissemble one's incompetence in business.
2.
to put on the appearance of; feign: to dissemble innocence.

And you are not the judge as to what is clear to other people. I am getting the impression that you have difficulty with memory and critical thinking. i think I have made my point to anyone else reading and this back and forth with you is unproductive.

Again All I did and all erod did was post what we heard on the radio. You're right I'm sure people can see this back and forth in this thread is unproductive because you clearly have no idea what I posted in this thread.

It is an unsourced rumor. What is sad is that you still dissemble from this.

It wasn't unsourced I posted several times where it came from. I posted it in this thread and another. I posted it my very first post in this thread.

Wow 17 pages on a guy who may or not have the body or desire...adversity brings the most out of people...stay tuned

Trainers have cleared Rolando McClain to practice, but he refuses to do so. They've told him he's fine, just sore.

This guy could make a huge difference if his heart is in it, but it doesn't look like it is.

Not sure this guy's worth the trouble, even with his talent.

So what now?

I'd suggest: Pack the bags. We are done.

Lol!

Not lol'ing at you, TwentyOne. But here we are at post #329 of this thread with someone responding to the OP directly without apparently having read the posts that immediately followed. If that doesn't make my point, Tawney, I'm not sure anything would.

It was clarified. I understand what your saying but disagree that it should have continued after it was clarified.

Fair enough. I see where you're coming from, too, but just think it's the nature of how people read and respond to threads that it works out the way it does. Not everybody wants to read all 330 posts to make sure he's being fair in his or her commentary.

how? the first post he said about McClain was only saying that McClains injury history with his leg are complicated. second one was him posting what stephen said about McClain whole body being out of wack right now with being out of football for so long. Are you reading it different?

It was on the fan when he said what was said. Erod started the thread over what ** said. So if you read his tweets now you can tell he is going down swinging

The facts are clear.

McClain experienced tightness in his leg Sunday and went to the trainers. The trainers examined him and found nothing wrong structurally and cleared him to practice. He went back to practice and continued to experience leg issues and withdrew again.

He participated in the walkthrough today. He did not practice this afternoon.

What is unclear are the motivations and disposition of the parties involved.

When I read that Fisher was citing McClain staying home instead of going out as a bad thing it struck me as proof that he is manufacturing a story here. Had McClain got out when he is on the mend it is clearly the worse choice to make.

tawney says he doesn't care if he is not believed. to me that is a good thing because I do not know that I trust him to give an accurate rendition of what was actually said.

so just to catch up has it been established that the original report was false?

As an aside, I should note DeMarcus Lawrence was not carted off the field. He was golf carted off. After walking to the sidelines.

The way they titled that they were acting like it was serious. Like a broken foot or something.
