So you have some fans who would cut him based on a guy with a twitter account and has nothing to do with the organization or the media that I can see. Only thing this tells me is we have some fans who just does not want this guy to play for whatever their own personal reasons

I thought the same around page 5..

If this thread has taught us anything, it's that some sources are not to be trusted. Also, that just posting negative unsourced rumors is apparently no reason for people to reply vehemently to the contrary.

Also that posters will argue about semantics and argue just for the sake of arguing even when no leverage is being found and it has no real bearing on the Cowboys what-so-ever.

....... or did we already know that?

Then why did it continue after he clarified where he heard the report by the top of the second page. Why was I treated the same way when I stated what I heard, where and when, from the start. The real answer is People got upset because erod and I posted something that was negative about a player all of us are counting on to help the team. Not that he didn't immediately say he heard it on the Fan, if that was the case he wouldn't have been attacked anymore after he clarified it nor would I have been chastised and my integrity questioned after I backed up what he heard.

You have been speaking for him and trying to full in the gaps to make the story logically consistent. Much of what you 'clarified' have been embellishments you added all on your lonesome. When you started saying that 'he said the trainers reevaluated him after practice' and 'he refused anyway' after the timeline being questioned it smacked of sophistry.

It turns out now that this story has no legs after all and you are going for the martyr routine. Sorry if I have little sympathy for you nor your dissembling.

If I would have suggested trading for this guy in the spring I'd have been booed out of the room.

I seriously doubt that.

If he pans out...we give them a 6th for their 7th. That is almost a throwaway trade....Jerrah might have been willing to part with a 6 pack instead. Maybe. Nah.

That depends on your definition of the word 'semantics.'

I really have no idea what you are talking about. I was pretty clear with what I said all along. What I said was said on the radio this morning between 10:30 and 11 am eastern time. I didn't embellish anything. I am not worried about trying to be right. I just said what I heard on the radio.

You worked your little fingers to the bone trying to poke holes in what I said. You haven't and another poster said Fisher said this evening again that story was true. (Pg 14) I'm not really worried about how I was treated I only brought it up to dispute that had he posted where he got the information from this thread wouldn't have gone down like it did. That clearly isn't true.

The other thing is....we are talking about the Cowboys medical staff here.....where a chipped fingernail becomes a season ending injury. Would you trust Dallas' staff if your body was telling you to shut it down?

He came right off the street after now playing for a year or participating in the offseason program. His body wasn't ready and he is getting really sore which is affecting his performance. At some point he is going to have to push through this. However, at this juncture we are giving him breaks off to let his body recoup. I wouldn't cut him at this point. Give him time to see how his body responds. If he isn't in good enough shape by cut time, then we can discuss other options.

Coy dissembling it is to be then

You're just being antagonistic. What he reported was the same thing I posted in your thread. That is what they said on The Fan. Regarding the quote you are talking about they mentioned he went back in with trainers. They told him he was fine. He wouldn't go back out to practice.

Jerry commented on it too. He said nothing to worry about they expected it. He isn't in shape and he has to work his way back into football shape.

They did reevaluate him. I didn't explicitly state it but it was implied. It is what I heard and apparently what the OP heard. You can deny it all you want. I don't really care.

erod has not backed you up on any of this

The funny thing is that I mentioned what the radio said about Jerry's comment on this being expected because he hasn't played In so long in my second post on the topic. Before someone linked the article in the thread. But yeah I embellished in this thread and made things up.

I included the entire quote for context and a fair representation. Read the first paragraph again and quit fronting. Your dissembling is transparent and pathetic.

I think the problems lies in some peoples expectations. I doubt "all of us" are counting on him to help the team. Perhaps a good portion of people were hoping he would help the team, but I doubt a majority of people were counting on him. Considering the circumstances of his career and the low rounder it took for Dallas to get him, it was unrealistic to count on the guy. Maybe he can help and maybe he won't, but he was never a guy that fans should have placed high expectations upon.

What exactly did you disassemble? Nothing, I haven't said anything that wasn't on the radio. Did you point out that anything I said wasn't what I heard on the radio? No because you yourself said you never heard the report. I'm not exactly sure what you've done other then show that you want to believe this isn't true or a non story. It may very well not be a story, but it doesn't mean the comments weren't made on he radio this morning.

I backed erod up and and another poster posted that Fisher reiterated that the story was correct this evening on his way home. (Pg 14).

l] verb (used with object), dissembled, dissembling.
1.
to give a false or misleading appearance to; conceal the truth or real nature of: to dissemble one's incompetence in business.
2.
to put on the appearance of; feign: to dissemble innocence.

And you are not the judge as to what is clear to other people. I am getting the impression that you have difficulty with memory and critical thinking. i think I have made my point to anyone else reading and this back and forth with you is unproductive.

I wasn't responding to you. Go read my second post see if I'm not telling the truth. Never mind I posted it below for you pg 6

I have no idea if this is true, but I do know it would be consistent with the rest of his pro career.

The Fuzzy Lumpkins word of the day.

You really should make this a regular habit.
