Disturbing rumor re: Rolando McClain

Erod and I only posted what was said on the radio, and it was posted here that it was said on the radio again tonight. Whether it's true or overblown is irrelevant, we posted what we heard on the radio. Never claimed special insight, or knowledge of the situation, again just posted what we heard. Some took exception to it, made things up and attributed things to us we never said. It is what it is.

Rolando McClain hasn't exactly earned any benefit of the doubt given his history. If he's cleared to play and he's not out there, something is going on.

you really have no idea how presumption works. all we have to go on is your word. you are even speaking for erod now as he has not once backed you up that i can see.

fishers guesses and characterizations as you portray them as to the various parties' motivations, disposition and intent are not 'facts.' that you do not understand that concept goes a long way as to me not trusting the veracity of your report.

My story hasn't changed, the content hasn't changed, while you often seemed confused who posted what.

I only posted what I heard said on the radio. Erod posted the same stuff. For whatever reason you took exception to it calling erod out. Someone else posted that Fisher said it again on the radio tonight. No one said that what was said on the radio was fact, just posted that it was reported on the radio. You can't seem to grasp that.

At least three different posters have posted that they heard the same report on the radio. Are we all trying to deceive the board? Two of us said pretty early on that we hoped it wasn't true. Yet you keep making things up, and attributing comments and statements to people which quite simply aren't true.

at this point DMN, fwst, dc.com, CBSDFW105.3, espn, fox all the major newswires: no one is running this story. when mcmahon, watkins, bayless and the like refuse to run with a story then it really has no legs.

I have never accused of anyone trying to deceive anyone. I am not going to sit there and take issue with other people attributing intent and then do it myself. logical consistency is important to me. I said i do not trust your report. there is a difference even if you do not understand it and that last bit only serves to reinforce my opinion as to your veracity.

Regarding adding something to the story. They talked about what Jones said right after the comments about McClain. If anything the comments I posted by Jones suggested what they were saying about McClain was over blown. It was all part of one post and part of the same story reported on the fan during my run this morning. This is what I posted and I never changed or embellished my comments.

You're just being antagonistic. What he reported was the same thing I posted in your thread. That is what they said on The Fan. Regarding the quote you are talking about they mentioned he went back in with trainers. They told him he was fine. He wouldn't go back out to practice.

Jerry commented on it too. He said nothing to worry about they expected it. He isn't in shape and he has to work his way back into football shape.
