DMN Blog: 10 Cowboys Lead Pro Bowl Voting...Hitting 300...NFL Cashing in on TOs Towel

You may think Adrian is better, but certainly the argument can be made that Roy is better. Roy has more tackles per season, INTs per season, FFs per season, and passes defensed per season.

So, statistically speaking Roy has been better.

The idea that Adrian is hands down the better player and people should be scolded for thinking Roy is better is just ignorant. I know you didn't suggest that (I don't think) but the original poster that I was replying to did.

Right on.

And if given a choice between two similar players, I'd hope every Cowboys fan would pick the Cowboy!

If not, then why be a fan?

It's not like you're picking which surgeon is going to operate on your brain and your choice is a matter of life and death. We're talking about grown men who chase an oddly-shaped brown ball around a field for a living, and we get to pick which one gets to do it in a meaningless game in Hawaii.

Have some fun with it for crying out loud and vote for the friggin Cowboy!

its amazing how fans still vote for roy williams. apparently they just vote off of his name, but he shouldnt be in another pro bowl anytime soon if its based off performance. :bang2:

It's amazing how completely ignorant some fans (LIKE YOU) can be.

Wow, Leonard Davis getting some love. To think we were bashed for this signing. Got to love the homework our scouts have been doing the last few years.

Ok. $10 to anyone that can find where this is on the site. :(

Sorry, my post was unlcear. Adrian Wilson plays SS for the Cardinals. Taylor is lsited as a FS but has played SS in the past. He is versatile to play both. My mistake on Taylor being listed as a FS. That being said. Roy is not a complete safety like the other two, he's just not. I watch games in my #31 jersey but if you guys are blind to the holes in his game then I am not sure what to tell you. Adrian Wilson is the best SS in the NFC and Taylor would be right behind him if lined up there.

Taylor is a FS. I don't see how saying that Taylor has played the position before has any relevance if he is not playing the position now. Also, this is the 1st season hes actually be worthy of the hype he gets. Even if he did play SS before, he was playing it like crap which in no way helps his case as being the better SS.

He puts together half a season worth of solid play and all of sudden hes a better player then guys who have outperformed him since the day he stepped into the league?

It's possible the media and other approved luminaries have access to pages on the NFL site that you and I do not.

Doesn't Adam usually get this information as well as some kind of sweetheart inside dealio?

Well, I like this new logic jimmy has opened and suggest to all Commanders fans that Patrick Crayton should be voted into the Pro Bowl over Eli Manning... :)

:star: once again Newman will get snubbed.

Are you serious?

Newman hasn't played his LCB position all year and has only started 5 games at RCB. Keith Davis can get away with it on special teams, but Newman's injury ruined his chance this year.

You are going to H-E-Double hockey sticks for that.

What difference does it make whether he's played on the left or right? Playing at a probowl level is playing at a probowl level. And Newman HAS been playing at a probowl level. And he didn't miss enough games for it to be a factor. Romo only played in 10 games last year so there goes that logic right out the freakin' window.

with Peterson health in question he might not even play in the Pro-Bowl so its certainly possible that maybe Barber could make the Pro-Bowl if he has a great finish to the year...
