Actually the Giants would probably be the ones to laugh. In a little while, Ware is going to be making at least as much as Tuck and Osi combined. Possibly as much as those two and Kiwi as well. For that kind of money, you can keep Ware. The Giants' DL is fine just the way it is.

Until, of course, Kiwi, Osi, and Tuck come up for new contracts. No need to come over here and cry because Ware has made Eli his personal *****, there fella.

Speaking of Osi, Tuck, and Kiwi, I wonder how they feel about the *** load of money thrown Canty's way? Sure is a chunk of change to throw at a guy who's never played a down for the Giants. Ah, forget it. I'm sure it's all kumbaya in Giants land.

Why would I cry about that? It's not really hurt the Giants or done much for the Cowboys.

Since each one of them broke down at some point last season due to a lack of depth, I would think they'd all be pretty happy that Canty is there. The DL rotation was critical to the Giants' last Superbowl run.

Ware deserves every penny he's going to get but that's besides the point. Money aside, if the giants where ever given a chance to get Ware for Tuck they'd be all over it.
Give is the same offer.. not so much

If you really think Canty is not a good football player, then you are a fool, and he will open the new stadium doing the fool on Romo.Romo will never lead no one to the super bowl, because he is not tough, and coaches know it and they are going to lock down on wide outs and send heat at Romo.

Thought I'd drop in and ask what was up with this.

We were told that teammates would never tell the truth about Owens while Owens was on the team and that as long as Owens was part of the team we would only hear the truth about him from players that leave. We were told it was because the players knew he would "go off" if they did.

Now Owens is gone and Canty has no reason to fear any repercussions and yet we still hear that TO was not what most posters here made him out to be.

What a mystery. :lmao2:

lol at diminishing demarcus ware's accomplishments.

Tuck is not the player you compare ware to, osi is. They are both better than tuck.

Tuck and osi together is a better combo than ware/spencer though.

nothing to hate on.....he is from New York going home....he professionally sidestepped certain questions to not get his name in headlines criticizing Romo or Wade..he gave props to Romo before that question was even asked so to me him sayin "no comment" was just to keep the mediots from turning his words on him ......and anyone could tell he didnt want to say Tuck but felt he had to .....he and everyone else knows Ware is way more of a dominate player Tuck is a really good player but Ware is HOF caliber

Settle down, there, dicksilly. No one said Canty wasn't a good football player. Just that he's not worth that kind of money.

I wouldn't count on Canty "doing the fool" on Romo, just yet. The guy has put up a grand total of ten sacks in 4 years. Say what you want about Romo, but he's not the easiest guy in the world to sack. Canty, it seems so far, would be a little short of the task.

we've watched his average play for the past 4 years so pleas don't come here talking about how great he is when he's never played a single down for you guys yet. I doubt any Giants fan has seen more of him at this point then we have. It's nothing short of comical when you try to talk him up to people who's actually been watching him for the past 4 years

Well... Owens is in the same state as Canty (NY)... so he might still be a little afraid of making him mad. :)

After watching the poundings Romo took last season I wouldn't really question his toughness.

dude its about the qb and the wr here. The line doesnt matter. According to most dallas fans, they think romo should win games without a line and when the other team has to count to 3 mississippi.

Romo is as of this moment over rated due to his contract and lack of production and results from December on. Turnovers as well.

I kind of think the Tuck thing could very well have been somewhat tongue in cheek.

TO was both responsible and a scapegoat.

I think the players were disapointed in Romo for his coming up small last december.

Think this would finally put a chip on our guys shoulders?

After 06 when Seattle stole a win from us. They bounced back to 11-1. Then coasted their way to the Giants spray paintin their locker rooms laughin their way to the Super Bowl.

One year later they are walking out of Philly with their tails between their legs, 44-6 losers in basically a playoff game.

Its put up or shut upt time for a lot of these guys. If they lay another egg next year then I don't think they've got a pulse.

I just dont get why is it Owens vs Romo....

Whenever a question is asked about Owens......it seems automatically the next question is about Romo.

In all honesty......I dont think there was ever a big issue between Owens and Romo. Owens has said repeatedly that he has never had any issues with Romo.....and so far we havent heard a peep from Romo.

Canty had no comment about his former QB and stated like others who played with Owens on this team that Owens has been used as a scapegoat.

I know there are some posters here that have been really disappointed in Romo's play....especially late in the season......Im one myself....but I dont think the majority are Owens supporters.

That being said......personally the only problem I had about releasing Owens was the cap hit,how it makes our offense more dependant on the run and the hope RW can become that #1 WR. The Cowboys brass thought it was the right move........we just have to wait and see....

I  that this OL improves...... :)

Dude, get a clue. There's nothing wrong with supporting RW, but this post is absolute blind homerism at it's worst.

And actually, if you compare that "1300 yards" to the rest of his career, it does appear that he got that 1300 yards by accident. He hasn't sniffed those numbers in any other season of his career. In fact the last time T.O. put up the meager TD numbers that Roy averages on a yearly basis, he played a grand total of 7 games.

We ALL hope Roy does well, but hittin the crack pipe and running up the homer flag on a message board does not turn Roy Williams into a WR that produces like T.O. It doesn't matter how you type it up.

Total Facial....

Reality ownz the homers once again.
