Yeah, I underestimated Jerry's stupidity.

I actually thought at one time he had a clue.

Actually the Giants would probably be the ones to laugh. In a little while, Ware is going to be making at least as much as Tuck and Osi combined. Possibly as much as those two and Kiwi as well. For that kind of money, you can keep Ware. The Giants' DL is fine just the way it is.

LOL! Spoken out of the *** like you'd expect from a person attempting to be all 'hard' and cool simply because he knows there is zero shot of his Giants ever having Ware.

You, your owner, your DC, your HC, and the City of New York would trade Tuck in a New York minute for Ware and they wouldn't even think about it.

OK lets just stick with facts:

The D came up small at critical times. So did Tony and the O.

So any shots taken at both are valid untill shown otherwise by performance in december and beyond.

Criticise Canty all you want but fact is that we have stank it up late in the season when it counted. Tony turned the ball over and did not make plays when it mattered as did the whole Offense.

Didn't hear the audio but saying Romo is a good QB is hardly trashing him. Last year Romo was a good QB. That's all you would get out of me. I love what I think he can do and wouldn't trade him for many QBs. But if he can't learn to start protecting the ball he's never going to be more than good.

Nope, just the facts.

The fact is that you are not a man of your word sir.

Sad.

No one forced you to say that you would leave if Terrell Owens was cut.

But you did.

And now you are going back on your word.

Sad.

They asked him if Romo was overrated.

He said no comment.

And we all know 'no comment' means yes.

No. I'm pretty sure my analysis was correct the first time. For the money you guys are going to be paying Demarcus, trading for him doesn't make any sense. Ware simply isn't worth Osi, Tuck, and Kiwi combined. The Giants already have a pretty decent DL. You guys can have him.

Like I said spoken like a person who knows there is zero shot he'd ever get Ware so he'll say whatever to make it seem like he wouldn't want him.

The fact is that if your GM thought there was even a shot in Hell that he could get Ware for Tuck and Kiwi he'd be all over that move right now and he'd never think twice about it.

Sounds like you are ok with Canty, who's a Giant now, banging on the QB of the Cowboys?

I dont like it and I hope Romo makes him eat his words.

But I just find it weird that Canty would answering the question the way he did.

He must have been affected by TO's venom.

I may be daft but I'll have to agree. Ware is an elite player but he was surrounded by a bunch of underachievers. Too many times the offense would gameplan to take Ware out of the game and no one else (including Glass-eyeball Canty) in the front seven would step up.

I would rather have the Giants d-line myself.

The Giants fan ignores a point that someone already raised: Osi was upset about his contract last year -- do you think he's fine with it now?

Yes, Ware may temporarily make more than Tuck and Osi, but not for long. They'll either pay him more, or deal with a very unhappy player.

Exactly. He was unhappy last year when Tuck got big money. Now Tuck and Canty, a guy whose never been on the team and never put up any of the numbers Osi' has, are getting big money. They're about to have to give Osi a nice chunk of change raise as well.

The three of them are going to making more than Ware when you talk abou their combined deals and I'd much rather give up one, or two, of them for Ware and put Ware and Osi together and pay them what you'd have to pay them.

I'm curious. Why is it that you think I want Ware so badly? When you look at the Giants' roster, does DE stand out to you as some kind of glaring weakness?

I doubt it. The foundation of the Giants' defensive line is a quality rotation of players. When Osi went down, that put a lot of strain on the rest of the unit. And they started to break down as season progressed. Under your scenario, the Giants would be sunk if either one of their starting DE's had to miss any significant time. As opposed to last year, where they still won the NFC East. Placing the entire fate of your team on the surgically repaired knee of one player, when you don't have to, is beyond foolish.
