DMN Blog: Cowboys bringing Arizona CB in (easy, Hos)

I'm back. The question is, can I stay awake.

Man, oh man. I couldn't get better Cowboys news. I hope he blows them away with his good character. I wonder if I can call the football office and get a quick interview with him? I may try it in the morning when they are open.

You know it only took him about 2 minutes. The other 58 minutes he was trying to catch his breath.

Yeah, right Hos.

It was a picture of Nick Folk; not Cason that 'inspired' you.

You ever see the pic of my wife? I don't need inspiration.

[insert daughter joke]

But in all seriousness, though I haven't seen Cason as much as you have, from what I've seen, I've liked. And I would love to see him in Dallas next year.

Play. Maker.

Don't know much about Cason other than seeing his name float around in here from time to time. Maybe Hos can shed some light on Cason for the rest of us.

Cason is widely considered the smartest DB to enter the draft in years. He excels in zone coverage, because of his understanding of situations and WR routes. He's rarely outsmarted, and is usually in good position because of his field awareness. Also, he pressures WRs to run proper and precise routes, because of his understanding of game situations and WR route running. He's been called a "coach on the field," because of his maturity, leadership, and intelligence. The primary knock against him, coming into the combine, was his 40 time, which he answered by running a good time.

Exactly on him being a play maker.

I have not watched much of Cason at all. I have only heard alot about him from my dad. Does he play physical at the line at all? I'm a fan of bumping WR off routes.
