DMN Blog: Cowboys refuse to apologize for win/Brooking cherishes the win

Congratulations you just accepted the 2008 Commanders who finished dead last in the NFC East. Look it up if you doubt me.

3-2 still mean that much to you?

Oooh. An anecdote. Impressive!

Does it hurt? Talking out of both sides of your face like that I mean.

Well what you gave me was an exception and thats why you gave it to me. 6-3 teams are infinitely more likely to make the playoffs.

you ask him. you're the one who has spoken with T.O. and has his phone number as you've reminded us all a ton of times. surely you have Austin's number too. he's probably coming over your house for a bbq or poker game during the bye week.
Oh look, someone is butt hurt again.

You ever going to get over it? I'm not interested in asking him. You are.

Yes, exactly, because each and every team starts over at 0-0. The good teams might start playing badly for any number of reasons and vice versa. But it's perfectly legitimate to try and ascertain and discuss what those reasons are what the team has done about them, which is what much of this thread is about.

We did all kinds of things that could have positively affected our tendency last year to make stupid mistakes (keeping in mind we were last in both giveaways and penalties). Have we done these? Our turnovers are up and down, still quite bad but not quite as bad as last year. Our penalties are better than last year but getting worse with each game.
See the Tennessee Titans for proof.

:wink2:

13-3 in 2008 and played their rear ends off.

i'm not butthurt over anything.you're the one who keeps telling people you have a players number like it's something special. you refused to answer his questions cause it was gonna back up his point. I knew you would'nt answer them as soon as I read his post.

Still waiting for an explenation as to why if the past season is completley irrelevent starting QBs like manning, brady, romo, etc. are not forced to compete for the starting job every year.

Yeah, your brilliance is shining through
I'm not surprised you don't see it. It takes a special kind of ignorant to recognize brilliance and still argue with it. I don't think you've quite sunk to THAT level yet. Give it time, you'll get there.

Exactly ...... every team has lost 3 starters this year.
I know the Colts are missing Gonzalez(better than Roy) and Bob Sanders(better than Sensy) and they haven't missed a beat.

Because they're better than the competition??

Well you should be ...... Owens was and is the best player we ever had .....

Hostile is just a blind homer sheep ..... he does not know anything.

I know ..... I think they are missing 2 other starters as well. And I am sure one of those is better than felix.

There is some evidence the morale is better. Long, disputed ugly argument there but we may be on the same side on this one.

There is good reason to argue their special teams are better (performance is better, new special teams coach, kickoff specialist (take that!), etc.

But here's the problem with the argument in general--there is no reason, beyond blind faith, to believe that the Cowboys have taken care of their turnover and penalty problem. There is little evidence that the D is better, despite making some changes in the offseason. Same for the offense.

na hos knows his stuff. you're the blind homer who doesn't know anything. your injury excuse just adds to it.

I have already said they are more likely to. You're missing the point on purpose.

:laugh2: and they're 5-0. they don't need injuries as an excuse like you always use for this team.

I would answer if I knew what the hell the point is.
