Yes, exactly, because each and every team starts over at 0-0. The good teams might start playing badly for any number of reasons and vice versa. But it's perfectly legitimate to try and ascertain and discuss what those reasons are what the team has done about them, which is what much of this thread is about.
We did all kinds of things that could have positively affected our tendency last year to make stupid mistakes (keeping in mind we were last in both giveaways and penalties). Have we done these? Our turnovers are up and down, still quite bad but not quite as bad as last year. Our penalties are better than last year but getting worse with each game.
