Three things.

1. Duh.

2. Swish! The post went completely over your head (not surprisingly).

3. In reference to #2, reading is fundamental.

actually it could have been guys on IR as well.
mathematically it could get very complicated.

IF we right the ship this year it wont because of one player(except Romo) or the addition of one player. It will mean the TEAM got it right.

Galloway For Two Firsts Then Owens Comes In And Causes Problems With The Team...then Roy Williams For A 1st, 3rd And A 6th...jones Desire To Replace Michael Irvin Has Caused Severe Problems For Us...why Doesnt He Try And Get Michael Irvin The Way They Got Him In The 1st Place,,,,in The Draft! Dont Give Up A Stephen Alexander And Future Probowl Players For Has Beens And Problem Players!

Probably because he didn't get Irvin that way. Jerry bought a team that already had Michael Irvin on it. Irvin was drafted in 1988.

it wouldn't surprised me if it was A.J. Smith from San Diego calling to see if the Cowboys would be interested in swapping Shawne Merriman for a #1 draft pick or even straight up for Anthony Spencer.

Probably Green Bay wanting Choice, they are DESPERATE at RB lol. In fact they had to sign Ahman Green. :p:

don't know i this was already posted but-

at the very end of his PC on the multimedia page a voice can be heard in the background saying, "We'll release the name of the player and the team that was interested in him..." and then it cuts off/ends.

apparently they plan to reveal it at some time.

next thing you know you are going to tell me Jimmy Johnson didn't draft Michael Irvin, didn't want to draft Troy Aikman and only drafted Emmitt when his preferred linebackers both were drafted out form under him in the first half of round 1.... :)

I like the "when I traded for Roy Williams" part ...

Not "we traded," .... "I traded"

Just conjecture, but it sounds there were other opinions at VR.

Stephen, please stand up to Jerry next time ....

Newy has been saying the last couple hours that Jason is the one who really pushed for the Roy trade. Said Jerry told them at the owners meetings RJ said it would really free up TO.

I know Jerry has said he'd wanted Roy for a couple of years... Just reporting what he said.

It was well known thoughout the league that Jerruh had wanted Roy for a while.

Now As I recall did we not get Roy for a 1st and 3rd and one of the 5ths we got in another deal? I would not consider one of our thirds, which we would guess would be around 20 or so, a "premium pick".

If we didn't make that trade we could of went OL DL DE OLB then WR Safety and filled a lot more positions.

Anyway I think it's garbage of them to announce something like this and then not tell who was involved what a joke.

I'd love to know who we turned down and what they wanted.

I'm not too comfortable with Jerry Jones making football decisions for this team either way.

I'm assuming it was a team like the Pats looking to fleece us like most do with Al Davis. Glad Jerry didn't make a move. I'd certainly try to rip him off if I were another GM.

Congratulations.

You just provided the angry villagers with additional pitchforks and torches.
