We will never know the truth.

Reeves' responses were satisfactorily vague to leave that open to interpretation.

But we do know what came out of Rich Dalrymple's mouth can be taken with zero credibility.

Sorry, but I believe that Reeves has more integrity than a team mouthpiece.

Never.

This was clearly about Reeves wanting more money. Reeves just didn't get the memo. :laugh2:

Wade has officially been castrated. Might as well pull the plug and ask Shanahan to fix this thing.

That depends on what the "one thing" was. It certainly looks that way, though. But who knows at this point.

Or just hijacks Jerry's mask in the middle of the night. Not sure Jerry will step out in the light of day without that thing.

:laugh2: I seriously think Reeves caught Jerry w/o his makeup on or something

First time for everything. :D

This whole "one thing" that kept him from signing on the dotted line is killing me. I can't imagine what it is.

well seeing that wade, decamillis and reeves were here....

I bet it was that jerry outlawed the Dirty Bird and reeves said oh hell no to that.

Somewhere arthur blank is laughing at Jerry Jones. Blank was a disaster a year and a half ago.

Then he hired a bright young mind to run his front office, who then in turn brought in good people and immediately changed the atmosphere and culture of maybe the worst locker room in the league.

Meanwhile jerry jones is opening the largest most spectacular stadium in the world and he is bickering with Dan Reeves and wade phillips about job details........

good thing that bill for the tickets is coming soon.

let's put it this way:

At least BSPN will have at least one more month worth of news to fill their one hour SPOTcenter every day.

That's fair. I may be jumping to unfair conclusions. I'm just skeptical.

just asking if we care to hear what Jerry has to say about the whole thing?

Rich Dalrymple said it for him.

That was his opportunity.

Reeves just shot all of that out of the air.

Anything he says now should be viewed as the lie that it is.

I can't envision Jerry not speaking about this

I think Dalrymple was to give Jerry time to come up with a reason/excuse

Jerry's got some splain'n to do.

Man, talking about raining on your own parade .... He's got a great new and exciting stadium that is about to open, at the very time that the fan base has grown very, very skeptical of his "organization."

Seriously, what planet do you live on? Shot what out of the air? What on earth are you talking about? They both said the same thing.

Dalrymple:

"We had two very good days of dialogue with Dan Reeves, and both the Cowboys and Dan had an interest in working together," Dalrymple wrote. "By Wednesday afternoon, we were unable to reach an agreement on all of the details of a contract, and both parties were comfortable with the fact that Dan would not be joining the organization. Jerry (Jones) holds Dan in the highest regard as a friend and a tremendous contributor to the history of the Cowboys and the NFL."

Reeves:

I'm sure this was something you wanted to do right? "Oh yeah, no question about it. I really and truly thought the deal was done. And after several days of discussing it and so forth we basically came to an agreement and so I thought it was done but with some of the concessions that Jerry had made he ended up putting some things in there that I wasn't comfortable with that he thought was important to him and just felt like if we couldn't come to an agreement it's best we part if we both weren't' going to feel comfortable with the thing."

Just talked to Dan Reeves who is now back home in Atlanta after he couldn't come to terms with the Cowboys about joining them.

Yawn.

Don't be so sure. The spinsters are on their way to justify this whole fiasco.

I'm far from a Jerry hater, and may even call myself "Pro" Jerry.

But there is no way around it. Jerry screw this one. Bad. I had finally warmed to the idea of bringing Reeves aboard, yet nope.

Man this is going to be a long offseason.

my only hope is that Jerry didn't fight too hard to keep Reeves because he has something better up his sleeve

if we return the same management and coaches, idk man
