It will be interesting to see if Austin is in the same time as Romo. You can expect that they will try to connect, especially with the "no blitzing" rule in the Pro Bowl.

hmmmm I'm happy for them that they get to go but if I was a player I wouldnt be satisfied just being added cause someone else that got voted in couldnt or didnt want to go. To me being a pro bowler is being voted into one of the allotted slots not just being an alternate and the current way the pro bowl is being done just really water downs the game just my opinion

I was hoping the snub would motivate him for next season, like the ole tackle did for this season. This kid is good, but when motivated he is even better.

That's great, they both deserved it, as previously stated by others. I might actually watch the game this year. Do all the QBs get a chance at playing time in the Pro Bowl usually, or will he just be there?

How many boys is that all together now?

That brings our total to 9 players...

Romo
Witten
Austin
Guorde
Bigg
Ware
Ratliff
Newman
Jenkins

Thats pretty impressive, especially considering that all but 1 (Bigg) are homegrown and have never played a down for another team. Those guys are also pretty young as well, most are 30 and under. This is a good sign for the future!!!!!

Happy for them, but I'll be pissed if they get hurt in a meaningless game.

Has there ever been a serious injury in a pro bowl game?

Glad to see them both make it. It really irked me to see that McNabb was an alternate before Romo though.

I'm happy for both of them.

Both of them deserve it.

I thought Romo was a lock.

Mike Jenkins, you are going to the PRO BOWL in your second year and first full year as a starter.

WOOOO!

Stay hungry, Mike Jenkins.

No mercy.

You can be the best in the NFL.

Romo was actually after McNabb AND Warner. Ridiculous. He was the 4th best QB in the NFC and one could argue 3rd. He was better than Warner and certainly McFlabb. McNabb is in for Brees. Favre and Warner declined the invitation and that's how Romo is in the game. It looks like a gift getting in as the #6 guy, but he clearly should have been no lower than #4 and had a very Pro Bowl-worthy season.

I'm happy that he now is in his 3rd Pro Bowl in less than 4 years a starter (the one he missed was a season where he was injured for 3 games). He's got 2 division titles, wins about 70% of his games, led his team to the playoffs 3 times, has won in the playoffs, owns numerous team records already, and is the #3 rated QB in NFL history. The people that aren't appreciating this guy are really missing something special. He's in his prime and probably has another 5 seasons of great football in him.

Congratulations Tony - you deserve the recognition!

Oh snap! I had forgotten about Warner. Yeesh. But, Tony shouldnt feel like he doesnt belong. This was one of his better years-arguably his best.

Ditto, the off week in between Conference Championships and Super Bowl irritated me, at least now I have something to watch :D I'll be happy to root on the Cowboy players, but I wish they could still light up Eagles players like they've down in three games this season, too bad you can't hit your own NFC teammates :( I guess I'll have to settle for hitting Patriot players

Maybe Romo could lead Desean Jackson into a nice bone jarring hit.....:p:
