T.O. claims that he doesn't watch ESPN, but he sure gets worked up about what the network's analysts have to say.

He's particularly perturbed about ex-Cowboys Keyshawn Johnson and Emmitt Smith, who have often been critical of the current Valley Ranch residents. Without prompting, T.O. fired a few shots at Keyshawn and Emmitt today.

"Those two need their own show - Dumb and Dumber," said T.O., who was otherwise jolly while sporting a Cowboys-customized Santa cap and blinking red nose.

T.O. called Emmitt a hypocrite for publicly calling the Cowboys a bunch of individual, then leaving a message on Greg Ellis' cell phone to pass onto the team. (T.O. wouldn't say what the message was.) T.O. also pointed out that Emmitt doesn't even know the name of the rookie running back who starred against the Steelers, since No. 22 apparently referred to Tashard Choice as Rashard.

As for Keyshawn, T.O. pointed out for the 1,348th time that the Cowboys gave Keyshawn a pink slip so they could sign him.

"Obviously, this guy is still really jealous of me," T.O. said, "because I'm here and this guy is in the booth talking about me and the Cowboys."

Emmitt is just trying to get the team riled up and play with more fire.

Keyshawn OTOH is a little girl, TO is right, he still is jealous of being cut to make room for TO.

Hey T.O. don't listen to Emmitt, he is one of the worst analyst on T.V. Owens should be happy Emmitt got his name right, LOL!

So Antonio Bryant calls out Emmit and Bryant is a problem. However T.O. does it and its all good. LOL.

Funny.
Gotta love the logic here.:D

I think there's a difference between what they both said? and both situations don't you?

T.O. and the any other current Cowboy don't have the right to criticize someone like Emmitt. Emmitt was part of a team that brought back the foundation for what the Cowboys are today. Emmitt is trying to get through to these guys through the broadcast booth. As for Keyshawn, now that's a different story with me because Key is just bitter, jealous, and anything else you can think of when it comes to T.O. He and others on the ESPN pregame show can't let a week go by without saying something about T.O. and the Cowboys and enjoys doing it anytime he can.

T.O. and the rest of the team need to stop worrying about ESPN. They aren't going to stop talking about you or the Cowboys. Please worry about these next 3 games because if the Cowboys aren't in the playoffs they will be saying plenty more things that you don't want to hear. Shut them up by producing on the field.

T.O... You bore me.
T.O.'s criticism of Key bores me.

The blurb about the note via Ellis was definitely new. I can kinda see why he might whiz on Emmitt a lil bit.

Emmitt Smith is a Hall of Fame caliber team player who played in Super Bowls and did his part to win them.

Keyshawn Johnson was an good, but not great, me-only receiver who played in a Super Bowl, was deactivated the next season and ended up on the Cowboys a season later.

Instead of "Dumb & Dumber", shouldn't the comparison be, "Been There/Done That & The Man in the Mirror"?

What Emmitt had probably said was something along the lines of what he said on Monday Night Countdown - which was that the team finally looks like a team again. How is that being a hypocrite? The team looked like individuals and NOW they looked like a team. A normal human being would embrace and be thankful for that message, but the basket case that is TO would react like this...Oh well, as long as he keeps catching TD's...

:lmao2:

That's typical Emmitt. The butcher of NFL names.

Well, with the way the injuries have been going this year, I sure hope those rabbit ears these guys have don't get hurt.

I mean, the media sickens me. The columnists and reporters are worse than idiots. But I think this team has other things to worry about, don't they?

I didn't even get what that part meant. Was he mad Emmitt didn't address the entire team?

Just my guess is this.

Just last week Emmitt calls out the team last week during the roof thing at the new stadium. Bunch of individuals, have no heart, etc., etc. And then in the next breath probably sent Ellis a text wishing the team good luck.

Just my guess.

Emmitt is your typical fan. Get's upset at the performance specially after a loss, but deep down he's still a supporter. TO needs to lighten up. For a 35 year old man he still acts like a teenager.

This is the **** I'm talking about. I really doubt Dallas is going to become the team we all want and expect them to be as long as we have characters like TO and PacMan. Even if the are not getting in trouble they are doing some thing or saying some thing that brings unwanted attention to the team.

I really feel as if we need to cut ties with these two for better or worse on the field right now in order to move in the direction this team needs to go.

Typical fan isn't on TV nor is he/she paid for their opinions. Emmitt is.

And more than likely, TO and maybe others are tired of ex-Cowboys throwing their 2 cents in about the team mentality when they're not the ones out there grinding it out right now.
