That is the real essence of this.

It is very. VERY. Political.

That is all there is to it.

That...and the fact that he was MIA for much of last season. Game film doesn't lie - if he could play someone would have taken a chance on him by now.

and if you want to rail on the coaching staff for not doing that, fine. but at this point, it's clear *some* version of the events being reported are true. way too talented for not one team having any interest what so ever, if none of the reports are true.

Exactly.............everybody is acting like Dallas is the only team in the league that doesn't want Hardy.

HELLO........there are 31 other teams in the NFL that are avoiding Hardy like the plague..........why do you guys think that is?

He played like someone a year out of the game. The other things, that is on him.

I thought he played about how I expected early on. After being away it took him time to get in game shape though I thought his play dropped off at the end of the year

But wait, there's more...

One thing that might help is if he showed some level of remorse.

When he constantly says he never touched her, yet pictures are all over the Internet of bruises all over her body.............well, I guess he is saying it was self-inflicted? She beat herself up like in Fight Club?

Don't think NFL teams are going to buy that.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Greg Hardy plays NFL football in 2016. I'm going to go further out on that limb and say the team he plays football with will be the Cowboys. If anyone is willing to take that bet, I'll tell you why you lose.

Try researching the story a bit.

I have listened to Micky detail the story several times on Talkin Cowboys.

It pretty obvious that the NFL and its member teams feel that Hardy was involved in a domestic violence incident.

All I am saying is that for him to keep denying it is not helping his case to get signed.

And if I am all wrong about this, please name me one other player in the NFL that had 6 sacks last year that all 32 teams are avoiding like Ebola.

Mickey isn't really where I would go to research.

I'm not sure the NFL feels that way, though I am sure they tried to turn the situation into an opportunity to show they were strong on DV. No idea what the teams think or if anything has been offered to him.

Some people would never admit to something they didn't do out of principle.

Start with North Carolina Attorney General that dropped all charges. He's listed in the phone book.

Couldn't find the witness because Hardy paid her off and flew out of the state. Geez, not that hard to figure out dude.

Some of these folks are too hard-headed to get that. Of course, it's likely because deep down they see nothing wrong with beating women.

It would be a bitter-sweet situation. I want him back, but the contract needs to be based off incentives. He helped out D Law last year and there would be one less position to draft early.

Then you should no he was never accused of hitting. Those weren't bruises from punches/beating. 99% were on her back from either falling backwards (she was drunk & high on coke) or from being pushed/tossed onto a futon with guns on it.

According to this article from the Charlotte Observer the case against Hardy was unraveling for weeks - it wouldn't have mattered if they found her or not, the DA was never going to win the case with or without her. Please don't take my word for it. This is a very eye opening article.

You are not sure the NFL thinks Hardy was involved in a domestic violence incident?

Why do you think he was suspended for 10 games...............this is a quote directly from the NFL ruling.

Among other things, the NFL investigation concluded Hardy, now 26, used physical force against Holder "in at least four instances" during the altercation on May 13, 2014, including one "which caused her to land on a futon that was covered with at least four semi-automatic rifles."

"The net effect of these acts was that Ms. Holder was severely traumatized and sustained a range of injuries, including bruises and scratches on her neck, shoulders, upper chest, back, arms and feet," Goodell wrote in his letter to Hardy.

And you are not sure the NFL thinks Hardy was involved in a domestic violence incident? I think their 10 game suspension (later reduced to 5) says otherwise.

If you need to ascribe motives to the people who understood the facts the first 8 or 10 times they were posted here, it sounds like you have a pathological need to hate other people.

You realize that throwing or tossing somebody onto a futon covered in guns which resulted in multiple bruises constitutes domestic violence?

The NFL seems to agree, see my post above with Goddells own statement.

Here's your Law lesson for the day. If a DA knows a witness was paid off, its a felony. If he drops a case knowing that happened, he would lose his law license and his job.

And DV cases proceed all the time without the witness taking the stand. They didn't in this case because the witness gave completely contradictory version of her story to Police and then at the initial hearing. The DA dropped the case the second Hardy asked for a jury trial because he had absolutely no chance of winning.

Not hard to figure out if you know an attorney or two - or spend a half hour reading the facts.

Did you read the rest of the paragraph past the part you bolded?
