DMN: Sporting News writer: Greg Hardy has rendered himself 'almost untouchable'

You interpret facts in manners that most others do not and act as if everyone is stupid because they come to a different conclusion. Your delusional interpretation seems the real pathology

So the conclusions you espouse is not delusional but his are? Why is that? Where you the other man in the house when the incident happened?

Exactly during the phone call the other man was physically restraining her.

Drew Rosenhaus should have had scripted talking points for Hardy. The interview did not help him as it pertained to the resolved matter in Carolina or the behavior in Dallas. Drew may not be his agent much longer IMO.

Because he could care less what the actual facts are. Guys like him and Rogah are only posting to vent bile and pretend they are better people than the posters here who have taken a half hour to actually read the articles on the case.

Good luck with that. I appreciate you sharing the information, but the lazy and closed minded already have their minds made up. It's much easier to quickly pass judgment on it than yo actually invest the time to know the facts. And we live in a lazy society.

You and Kaiser are doing some of the same things the other way though. Assuming that he did nothing because of some simple questions. I don't care that she is a druggie and a drunk because he didn't either and associated with her. There are a 1000 reasons why people do stupid things..that's why they are stupid, so I'm not going to try and understand what happened in that apartment. There were two males and 2 females and at different occasions more than one said Hardy laid hands on her. She also acted erratically. Overall I think it was somewhere in the middle. She didn't end up with bruises, etc accidentally and he also didn't go on a rampage. But the two of them are bad for each other and this is what happens in domestic disputes...he said/she said.

And please stop acting like reading other slanted articles make you anymore in the know. You weren't there and don't know a thing more than any of us. I find it hard to believe that the all the teams, owners and many ex-players (see my quote from Woodson) haven't been vetted a little more on details than the message boarders here. Again, we don't know a thing so calling out others is useless.

That does not mean that he's innocent.

So you went from "he paid off the only witness" to "he may not be innocent" within the span of two posts?

I'm not ripping on you, but if you take a half hour to read the information that has been posted about Hardy's case you will see there is absolutely zero credible evidence that he hit the girl.

What credible evidence is there that he didn't? Same people, same apartment...bruises, etc. You don't know the bolded above. You don't. One of the other girls said it sounded like he was throwing her around. Everyone had differing opinions.

I wish it were only a half hour. I've frankly invested more time to this case than a care to admit.

That was her friend that went to a neighbor and called 911. The guy whom house she went to stated she changed her story from the time she knocked on the door to the time she spoke with them. I posted all the 911 calls from that night.

I've heard them and read as much material as possible and to me something happened but we will never know what. As I said, to me there is probably truth in a little of what each of them says but his issue goes much deeper because he makes it worse thus making it seem like the guy is the psychopath that everyone thinks he is. The media can go haywire but I seem to believe that they also have some access that we don't have to some of these athletes and how they act and in getting additional data. But I factor in everything, including his idiotic comments and it doesn't inspire confidence that someone so delusional and full of himself wouldn't be capable of hurting a woman and at the same time claiming he did nothing. Basically we have two messed up people, in a messed up relationship, with a messed up ending.

Ex-teammate on Greg Hardy’s claim he’s never hurt a woman: ‘I guess she tripped’ Hardy, hoping to land his next NFL job, tells ESPN, "I’ve never put my hand on ANY women."

“Saying that I did nothing wrong is a stretch but saying I am innocent is correct. Yes sir.” - Greg Hardy

Ms. @jemelehill: “Greg Hardy is despicable.”

(This includes her quote where he mentions "As you can tell, like I said again, it's the bible belt. It's just something that's, I wouldn't even say frowned upon, just something that’s non-existent in most Southern homes."..though many Southern States have highest incidence of it.

Greg Hardy on police photos: "Pictures are pictures and they can be made to look like whatever they want to.”

"Do I feel like Greg Hardy is believable? Absolutely not." - @darrenwoodson28

I don't see how hardy is worse than aldon smith. He just got a 2 year contract

Right, that should tell you something about where teams heads are on Hardy.

You and Kaiser are doing some of the same things the other way though. Assuming that he did nothing because of some simple questions.

Yes, simple questions like "Did the sole accuser lie" and "Did the DA drop all charges when it was time to go to trial".

You know, the simple stuff.

And please stop acting like reading other slanted articles make you anymore in the know.

#1 - I'd love to see a list of articles that were slanted TOWARD Hardy and not the lazy three sentence variety.

#2 - I read the entire transcript of Hardy's hearing with the NFL and the recap of reporters who attended the initial Court Hearing. Did you?

And Steve Smith is an authority now?

On arrests for assault, he might be:

On November 10, 2002, Smith was involved with an altercation with his teammate Anthony Bright during a film-room meeting.[4] Smith was suspended after that incident, which left Bright with a fractured orbital lobe. Smith was arrested and briefly jailed on charges of misdemeanor assault, and the Panthers suspended him for one game on November 21

I've read articles on the case. I was OK with giving him a chance. He seems to have squandered that chance by acting in a way that the Cowboys front office and head coach didn't really appreciate, especially given the fact they were one of maybe 3 teams that were willing to take a chance on him. Honestly, while I wouldn't mind him back now given how cheap he'll be, I can't really blame the Cowboys if they just want to part ways with him. And his last interview certainly didn't help his case and in fact makes him look like the pain in the *** it's been rumored he was.

Is there another version of this story that I am missing?

Piling on is easy.

The pictures and the 911 tapes tell a story no one wants to believe. She was bruised but she wasn't beaten. Greg's friend caused those marks by physically restraining her. She can be heard whining on the phone not to call the cops on her, she is sorry and doesn't want to go to jail. Shen runs from the cops, not to the cops when they arrive.

DV sucks but Hardy shouldn't have to lie and apologize because Steve Smith's mom got hit by her partner. He does need a PR guy though, fighting this alone isn't working.

When you fight, where do you hit someone? If you're attempting to strike them, where do you aim?

When I thought about the Cowboys signing Hardy, I made sure that I did as much homework as possible on him and his case before I ever thought about advocating it. Nobody wants a piece of garbage on their team. After an extensive review, her character, her actions, and her testimony, told me everything I needed to know. And her conduct during the entire process only solidified things.
